can anyone help me track down this ancient digital camera?

it was free in "which?" magazine in the UK (archive link) when you signed up for a free trial. it was garbage but i used it a bunch as a kid. i'd love to see a better picture of it (or heck find one on ebay since they were everywhere briefly, but i've never seen one come up referencing the magazine).

it was 352x288, ran off of a single AAA battery, had a tiny LED display with two digits for how many photos remaining you could take, i believe a usb mini-b connector but could be wrong, and i think it just saved to onboard storage and you had to connect to a computer to get the photos off.

the people i live with wont replace the toilet paper and im going through a 4 pack a day. how do i resolve this issue?

A bug bite makes you nocturnal. How do you adjust?

So a rare bug species bites you, and it's found the bite has the side effect of inverting your circadian rhythm permanently. You'll only be able to sleep when it's light out, the darkness wakes you up in the same way the sun would have. The harsh part is your new circadian rhythm is a lot stronger than the original, essentially forcing you to sleep so you can't just ignore it.

How do you adjust to this life?

In our old age, are we going to be considered -especially- ancient?

I feel like we'll end up being seen as older than we saw e.g. WW2 veterans... like wow did history even exist before the modern internet? Where did your photos go??? You bought magnetic reels and spun them with a motor to watch movies??? You had to store all data in giant boxes of handwritten notes??? What do you mean you couldn't be instantly contacted globally from age 3??? How did you learn at school without laptops??? How did people livestream???

At least for our parents etc they were all mostly incrementally old, but we just have this massive dividing line in the sand once gen X and early millenials start dying out.

this isn't meant as a scared of getting older post i just think it's kinda interesting to think about
