Confused to go for XEV 9s Pack one above 59 kWh or 79 kWh. We ain't have frequent long travel our regular and maximum total trip distance will be 300 kms. Occasionally we will go for long trips 6 months once, total covering 1000 kms.

Should I go for 79kWh which cost 2 lakhs extra than 59 kWh?

Just range changes for that money, and power, I'm more than enough with power in 59kWh.

I have booked a car in Zoomcar for a week. I need to travel 120 kms to get the car. The day before my car pickup the host(car lender) called me and asked me to cancel booking in Zoomcar and take the car offline.

I denied because he demanded money if there is any damage to car, where in Zoomcar they will take care of damages or repairs as I pay the insurance.

He asked me to cancel, which I didn't do because cancellation at last moment will become a loss to me as more than 50% of the amount won't be refunded and I raised a complaint to Zoomcar customer support. They talked to the guy and got a statement that the car will be available and you are good to get. I asked several times what if the car gets cancelled tmrw by Host, they guaranteed that it won't, because host needs to pay extra amount for the cancellation, with that assurance I traveled to get the car, at just 30 mins before the host cancelled my booking.

Which I totally got frustrated by both zoomcar and host.

They promised 1.5x refund but I only got my paid amt refund. Where the hell they will pay for the hustle which I went through?

Guys please don't book in Zoomcar, many cheaters are there. Zoomcar customer care is also not supportive. They don't even have a medium to contact them back properly after the cancellation.

How is tyre Wear in XEV9S? After how many Kms we need to change tyres?

Being in middle class, putting hard earned money in an EV worth more than 20L, is worth it?

Does middle class people avoid buying EVs more than 20L?

I'm planning to buy Seltos HTK(O) variant for my parents, who barely do 800-1000 kms per month and 80% on highway and 20% City. We live in town which is 100 kms from nearest city, so obviously we go long on highway. Planning to have the car for 10 years.

HTK(O) DCT Turbo Petrol: 21L on-road.

HTK(O) Diesel AT: 22L on-road.

I will be only paying 5L down payment and remaining will be EMI.

Considering my usage which can I go for?

Does DCT play a major role to get the sporty driving?

Or does AT comes in place for better reliability and long term maintenance cost?

Does going 1L above save me later in fuel cost?

I'm pretty sure I won't get DPF issues as highway usage is more.

Confused between these two, or can I wait for Sierra EV?

PS: it's our first car in family and no prior car driving experience. We are open for anything. Expecting Experienced owners to come-in for advice.

I'm planning to buy a car under a budget of 22Lakhs. The car is for my parents who are in their 50s. I will drive the car for 3-4 years now and will buy a new one for me later. Our use case is maximum up and down 400 kms. Which an EV can provide the sufficient range. Also we have a own house and can provide EV infrastructure. But the thing is many of them are threatening me that don't go for EV more than 15L. I had Sierra EV vs Seltos ICE in my mind. (Sierra EV yet to launch). I'm worried about the battery problem which will come along EV vechiles and the long term usage. Definitely we will keep the car for minimum 10 years. Is there anyone who has used EV for long period and figured out to answer the question EV vs ICE?. Even if it's EV vs ICE, is EV vehicles worth for 22 lakhs?

Can we trust Tata EVs? Will the range drops by years passing? EV cars does feel like cars?
