For those in IB- is it hard to loose weight whilst working?

For context, I’m going to start a summer internship in IB M&A soon (in 2 weeks!). And recently i’ve gained almost 10kg and I need the weight OFFF.

I’m 55kg at 152 cm, which if you’re a guy you might think is nothing but at my height 57kg is considered overweight. And I look pretty chubby.

I want to start a WL journey before a wedding in october (its june). But i don’t know if it’s going to be absolutely impossible with IB. Does anyone have any tips on keeping fit whilst working those 70h+ weeks? + dealing with after work pubs, and social events.. etc

Since I’m small my calorie budget is pretty small, my tdee is like 1500 lol :/

Cold Brew Tea Infusion?

https://preview.redd.it/nhhn5uk9tj3h1.png?width=1412&format=png&auto=webp&s=989f05aa4e4708eedf16e26263bbe15b16271c3c

Recently bought this "Cold Brew Infusion" tea from whittard. in the instructions it says to brew over cold water for 10 minutes. I tried it, left it for 15 minutes or so and it was absolutely wonderful. I was wondering if this tea was actually made speciallyl to be brewed over cold water, or can I brew any tea (or almost any tea) over iced water.

Like, can i buy just any fruity tea (not one that says that its for cold brew infusion) and brew it over cold water for 10 min and will it taste just like this??

Also don't know if i should tag this as a question or as a recommendation- i definetely recommend this tea, though i am not a tea expert, it just tasted good

Is the Travel Tumbler actually spillproof?

It's summer, i'm melting, but i still want to take coffee to work.

I have the medium travel mug and it genuinely is spillproof- but is the travel tumbler spillproof? it just does not look 100% spillproof idk. I want to take my iced coffee with me to work (and drink it with a straw if not the ice cubes freeze my teeth), but i throw my mug inside my bag with my laptop so im a bit concerned.

if anyone hhas this travel tumbler and tosses it on their work bag and it dosent spill, let me know!

Scientific explanation of gaining weight for no reason due to pcos

Hi everyone! I’ve also gained weight throughout my life- though i can 100% see how that is lifestyle change rather than gaining weight suddenly with no change in diet and lifestyle.

I’ve seen a lot of posts, not only in this sub but just in the internet in general about pcos weight gain and I wanted to know the science behind it.

Weight gain or loss is a calories in/calories out calculation. What is it about pcos that disrupts this? Do our maintenance calories decrease? (And if so by how much)? Or is it that we burn less?

OR is it that our hunger cues get fucked, people start eating more, and in that case it would be that pcos changes your eating habits, which then makes you consume more cals and thus weightgain?

I want to know because I track my calories pretty diligently, but i am young so i want to know if i should still expect to gain weight even though i am tracking what i eat (yes even mindless snacking).

Yeah thats all thanks! Just wanna know more about how this condition impacts my life

Is 2kg of fat loss noticeable?

Hi everyone. I am 152cm, 54.5kg and I was wondering what I would look when I get down to 52.5kg. I have a dress that I want to fit in to and I wanted to see how much I need to loose to get there.

I’ve seen a lot of posts that say that a 2kg loss is nothing, but considering my height and my weight (that is high with respect to my body but not really high in the big scheme of things), I was wondering if 2kg (of FAT LOSS) would be noticeable?

Also I am not talking about 2kg scale loss I am talking about 2kg of fat loss, so a total deficit of 15,400.

If anyone has before and after pics that would be great🩷 thank u all

Looking for a reading light

Hi everyone! I love to read at night, and I'm looking for a reading light. I bought the one that xteink offers but its absolutely awful. I usually read horizontally (so laying down) and it always falls down and its too bright to read with all the lights off and its awful.

I thought of buying the Ulanzi, but the problem is that since it sticks onto the back I wouldnt be able to have my pop socket on the xteink and thus wont be able to hold it up.

Anyways I'm looking for a good reading light with a very dim setting, that can be placed on the xteink whilst it has a pop socket on the back. Idk if such a product exits but i thought that there was no harm coming here and asking!

I just received my xteink and its loading and I was just wondering If i had to install crossink FIRST and THEN its "fork", crosspoint

Themes compatible with innioasis without rockbox?

Hi everyone! Yesterday I spent like 5 hours trying to install rockbox but because I have a snapdragon processor the rockbox helper thing doesnt work for my laptop. Tried using ubuntu but not working either.

I was going to install rockbox only because I wanted themes for my innioasis, but I found out today that you dont even need rockbox to install themes?

So I have two questions: One, if you can install themes without rockbox, what even are the benefits of rockbox and why does everyone isntall it.

Two, does anyone know any themes that I could install that are compatible with the original software? I've already downloaded some from here: https://themes.innioasis.app/?page=1 but I was wondering if there were more themes available!

Please if anyone could lmk i would apreciate it ;)

Best way to roast veggies with NO oil

There’s a post in this subreddit asking this same question but the original poster said that they could not have oil because they are on a low fat diet and all the responses only recommend him to use an oil spray/ use less oil.

I can’t have oil at all for different reasons. Is there a way to roast veggies/ have crispy veggies with no oil at all ? (I’m thinking broccoli, sweet potato, zuchini, etc). Edit: can’t have butter either

If anyone could help that would be great🩷

Has anyone ever bought standoil shoes?

https://preview.redd.it/raaob5c4ng0h1.png?width=2718&format=png&auto=webp&s=4f20472b302b979d1b196b6af74ddd1b8c18c844

Has anyone ever bought standoil shoes? I know they won't be the best quality in the sense that they probably won't last 5+ years. But I want to know if anyone has ever bought shoes from this brand and can attest that at least they look decent?

I don't really care about durability but I do care that they don't look super cheap. I can't really find reviews online since they're all in korean!! if anyone has bought from here pls lmk :)

Mini ereader with light to read at night?

I have a kindle but i always gravitate to just reading in my phone (kindle app) because I like to read laying sideways and in the dark before I go to sleep.

Because of the harsh iphone light, I was thinking of getting a small ereader. I like the look of the xteink but I’ve heard it has no light? So that you cant read it in the dark. I’ve been looking and I cant seem to find what I’m looking for, an affordable small ereader with light (enphasis on affordable I’m not spending £200 on a 5 inch ereader)

Does anyone have any recommendations as to what I should buy? Alternatively, should I but the xteink and just buy a reading light? Thanks everyone x

(based in uk so recommendations have to be available here!)
