I stumbled across this channel called “basic logic”. despite the name of the channel, the Person who owns it openly rejects democracy and believes that woman shouldn’t be able to vote, white people are the superior to other races, he’s a christian nationalist, and he even beefs with libertarian right wingers because he openly admits to being an authoritarian right winger. And I’m not getting this by reading between the lines of what he says, he says all of these things loud and proud, no subtext or critical thinking require, he’s just saying it. And this isn’t some random ass alt right channel with 300 subscribers who gets 100 likes per video and 2k comments. No, he has over 200K subscribers. Let that sink in. 200K people look at this guys content and think “Yup! We should live in an authoritarian christian state where the government oppresses everyone and executes minorities in the street! That would be awesome!” Now, obviously the right has always believed in these things. But I feel like in past years, they were more hesitant to say the quiet part out loud. you’d have to at least think a little bit about what they were saying for the Nazi shit to come to light. But now their just… being open Nazis on YouTube. thoughts?

I hate it because it shouldn’t be a drama at all. Technodad decided that he was uncomfortable with technolarp so Larp respected his wishes and gave up the persona. It should be as clear cut as that. But after moist‘s video, people are acting like he’s the fucking Antichrist or some shit. They mostly argue that the collab with skeppy, so it proves that it’s beyond a friendly tribute and it’s actually him trying to impersonate him. It’s worth noting that skeppy reached out to him first. also, see it from Karl’s perspective, you hop on this larper trend withoht much thought, then one of technos actual friends says he thinks what your doing is funny and wantsto collab, so you think “oh! Even his friends are cool with it, so why not!”. this drama has been dragged out and people are harassing larp just because his channel was sort of out of touch. It’s over, just chill out.

now first of all, their covers suck. like no hate to the kids lets be honest. however, beyond their music being kinda bad, I have a fundamental problem with kidz bop. Kids would rather hear the real thing, especially if they’ve already heard the original. Kids aren’t dumb, or at least as dumb as we think. it’s gonna be pretty obvious to them when something was cut out, and they can probably figure out the original message of the song. I’m also just not a fan of the idea of watering down music. a better thing to do would be to just make original music targeted at younger kids, rather then trying to water down music for teenagers/adults.

The Babylon bee is a conservative onion ripoff then makes right wing “satire”. Now, conservatives can have satire, but this really isn’t good satire. What satire is supposed to do is take a real issue and exaggerate it for comedic purpose, but the actual issue is still there. it’s supposed to be funny and thought provoking at the same time. The Babylon bee doesn’t do that. They just pull shut out of their ass. For example, they have an article titled “Democrats swear to reform ICE so they only deport immigrants who love America“ like I shouldn’t have to explain why thats a bunch of nonsense. also it’s worth noting that they think that “Democrat”, “Liberal“, and “leftist“ are the same. their other type of humor is “owning the libs“. basically they say that pro Palestinians are anti Semitic and laugh at the thought of people on the left getting mad at it. like yeah, I disagree with these articles so maybe im biased, I also struggle to see how conservatives find this funny. This isn’t intended to be super political btw, it’s just I think this shit is painfully unfunny

when people say that damnation is better then forsaken, normally they go “oh it took itself more seriously and was more scary“ no it didn’t. I started playing in early march of 2025 (before all the drama shit) and it wasn’t scary then. I also played the archived forsaken when it was still up, and it wasn’t scary, and it was also a lot less balanced and generally less fun. I don’t see a world where a game with c00lkidd, John Doe, walmart Jason, and zombie king, Jeff the killer, kool killer, or Sonic.EXE is scary. none of the killers are scary now, and none of the original damnation killers were scary. once again, the game itself was a lot less balanced. so yeah

this is not a controversial take at all, I’m actually sorry for being the 16th person to tell you this today, but come on. Their music is some of the most bland, generic, and uninspired slop I’ve ever heard. like I have heard intros to kindergarten shows that are more musically interesting than their fuckass thunder song. Like sure not every band needs to write bohemian rhapsody but that doesn’t mean they should just be lazy. the music feels like it was made for ads, and It is in a shit ton of car ads so… yeah. i don’t have anything against the people in the band (I don’t really know anything about them) but GOD I hate their music.
