Idk if this is exactly the right sub for this or if this question is asked often so if it is forgive me

I really like birds, I think they’re fascinating, and I would like to go into a career with them but I don’t really know what like field or whatever. I kinda want to do something with conservation but I’d also like to work hands-on with birds. So any suggestions of fields I should look into and stuff?

Women can be incels absolutely, not arguing that, but incel is a gender neutral term!!😭 its means “involuntarily celibate” which literally has nothing to do with anybody’s gender. It’s just stupid. “Oh but incels is typically associated with men” well that’s those men’s fault for being like that! If they don’t want the term associated with men, don’t be an incel. Either way, it’s a gender neutral term and we don’t need to use “femcels.” I don’t care about the incel’s gender. They suck no matter what.

I would like to add that I mean “incels” in the sense that theyre bigoted and not just involuntarily celibate, because that’s what most use the term form. Just to be clear

This is probably a stupid question but when someone puts “Minors DNI” or “Adults DNI” in their bio that applies to everything, right? Like that means I cant attack them, can’t comment on their attacks/characters, can’t talk to them, can’t do jack squat, right? I assume so, but I’m slightly uncertain so I just thought id ask😭

So this is my first fanfic on AO3 and I’m not sure how to tag it??

It’s a warrior cats fanfic, where all the characters are OCs, but the clans are still the same. There’s a romance between 2 characters but that’s not the whole plot. The whole story is really just for shits and giggles mainly between my cousin and I. The premise of the story is a fat kittypet named Octavius joins and Windclan, a clan of tall and skinny cats, and the scrutinize and fat shame him and he only has two friends Cheetokit and Orchidrain, the love interest. And they love him anyways!! But the whole things is meant to be stupid and silly and goofy. Everyone obviously learns at the end that fat shaming is terrible and Octavius is great at others things they’re not and that everyone is unique in their own way.

But yeah, how should I tag it, or at least get started on tagging it??

Normally I’m good at picking up subtext and implications but my this time both my friend and I were majorly confused.

At the beginning of ep 9, you know they’re all kinda panicking and Jax says something like “great you get to see your mother again, Ragatha! And you get to go back to your weird gender Zooble!! And I’m—“ and he just doesn’t finish. And then Ragatha’s sobbing on the ground and she says something and then “I think I always kinda knew…” Knew what?? Did I miss something? Because my friend and I were heavily confused. We kinda looked at each other and went “are they dead??” (Obviously now we know theyre not) But that wouldn’t make sense with what had said. Is that they all kinda believed it wasn’t real? Or what? Idk could someone just explain it to me because i totally missed it

I know this is kind of an old topic, and it’s been said before, but I still believe pomni’s quote from episode three when her and kinger are in hell, “I knew it would end up like this! He— He just wants me to suffer” wasnt about Caine.

I’ve always felt like the line was too out of place. She hadn’t know Caine long enough and she hadn’t really said anything against him before that. I feel like it’s about someone from the real world. Because to me, the, “I knew it would end up like this” sounds like she’s talking about life in general, not just the circus. It sounds like she had an abusive boyfriend back in her real life.

Her three insecurities/fears are, one, not being taken seriously (the jester costume), being treated like a child (the short height and big eyes), and relationships turning aggressive (gummigoo turning into a vicious crocodile). That last one was really was proof for me, because she liked gummigoo, whether romantically or not, but then he “turned” on her and attacked her. To me, that seems like she’s had that happen to her before.

We all know she likes exploring abandoned buildings, and so therefore we can assume that’s where she found the headset, so maybe she somehow blames her boyfriend for her putting it on or even why she was in the building in the first place. Obviously I can’t say exactly why because no one knows her full story, and either way people tend to place blame on others as a way to cope. But even though I can’t say exactly why would be blaming him, I still really think it was about a partner and not Caine.

ok so I’m a high school student and I started looking into to wildlife biology as a career. I know very little on the subject and I would like to learn more about it so I have a lot of questions.

are you actually on the field most of the time? and do you have to work you’re way up to a position like that? because I really just don’t want to be sitting in an office all day or something if I’m gonna have a career like this.

I really like animals, that’s the part I‘m the most interested in, so what job in the field would be the best for me?

what do I have study for it? and how long do I have to study for? what are good schools?

are there any youth programs or summer internships or anything that I can start?

I also have high-riding kneecaps which causes my knees to have a tendency to temporarily dislocate and for them hurt when going up or down stairs, running, or jumping so would that really affect the job? I can get that fixed or work on it more so it’s not the end of the world but I’m just curious

I also have a cat and a corn snake. Would their care interfere with the job?

and anyone has anything else they think I should know or any advice that would be greatly appreciated
