Tape residue from holding spoiler

I stuck this on yesterday, and coming to take the tape off this morning the tape has left adhesive, what’s best to get rid of it?

Spoiler is on with 3M tape and tiger seal glue

UPDATE: It’s all off now, IPA did the job nice

What is this knocking noise!? Driving me insane. Mk7

LISTEN TO THE AUDIO CAREFULLY.

I have posted this issue many times now to no avail, and I have been to 3 garages all of which say they can’t hear anything. I have had my driveshaft swapped as one garage found it to be broken, and tbf have fixed it nicely.

But this noise is going to end me.

When I turn the wheel right mainly, I hear this tap tap tap noise. Is it something steering column wise? Ball joints? Strut mount bearings?

Cutting hole in EKET unit for wires?

I mounted these 2 EKET units yesterday, and didn’t think then about wires or anything like that.

Now come today where I’ve got the TV on top, I now need a solution to run wires down into the unit. Inside is going to house an Xbox, WiFi router, Nintendo Switch and PS5, so quite busy.

On the wall is also a media panel of sorts with sockets, I have cut a hole in the back panel to access this.

I did think of drilling a hole in the top, and putting a grommet of sorts in it (I know there is the BESTA TV unit with this, but these were already purchased).

Any suggestions on how to go about doing so? Is there a better solution and or better overall sleek look?

Scrapes and cracking in paint work on front bumper

Usually I would take this to a trusted bodyshop I have been to many times, but now I’m kinda getting to the point where money is tighter now, and I also don’t wanna have to take my car there and leave it for a day or so. I have contacted a mobile repair company and waiting for a reply, but I mean it’s not massive or major, but just pisses me off every time I see it.

For context this bumper has also been repainted, by the bodyshop I mentioned above, because prior to that it was also cracking the same way it is now. Have I got a cursed bumper?? Or just every

Bidean Nam Bian, Glencoe

Attempted this back at the end of March, too much snow and didn’t have the right gear. Came back today with better gear, and smashed it tbf. Great climb up through the snow patches, albeit sketchy af.

Only downside, I got absolutely battered my the sun. The heat was fine, but I now look like a lobster. Oh well, worth it imo

Need help with attaching lip spoiler

So a while ago I bought this maxton design lip spoiler for my mk7 golf, I followed the instructions best I could, cleaned the surface, wiped it down with the alcohol pads and then peeled the tape, lined it up and stuck it down.

Few days go by and I come to clean the car, I noticed the very edges were lifting slightly so I kinda lifted it up a bit and tbf it came right off, no hesitation, just lifted straight off. I really don’t know why. After this I reapplied the tape as best as possible, and bought some more wipes and 3M VHB tape, and now am wanting to reattach it.

But, what’s the best way of doing this? Will the tape be strong enough like I originally thought, or would it be best to use a glue as well? A bonding glue or something?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
