The double on the right might be hard to see, but in reality, it was definitely there!! I got to watch the rainbow fade from the left to the right, until it was gone🤗!! It was hard to watch it go, but cool to watch it disappear 🌈🩷!!
Just a couple of cuties hanging out on some aster flowers in the yard today!🩷 They’re definitely loving this bush right now!!
I think the pics speak for themselves🩷
I don’t know what kind it is, but awesome! I felt bad because I had to break his web since it was attached to the grill cover, and it was gonna rain…. But after I broke its web, it awesomely collected it back up with its back legs, then hid in the lamp post. I looked for it this morning, but he was gone, but discovered that he had moved to another spot where its web was destroyed, due to the fact that it decided to make it right at our gate entrance, and we needed to get into our backyard via the gate…! Its place of web design hasn’t brought it much luck, but I hope it finds a spot that doesn’t immediately get destroyed!!! Sorry dude!! It wasn’t personal 🥺!!
I wear a size 9 women’s…. Yah, my big boy is booming!
The green ones were when I just placed them in the ground, now the larger ones are growing little babies in their leaves, my small ones have grown in size, and one of my small chicks has even become 2 heads! Truthfully, I was afraid that one would die at first, because it was quit small and limp, but it’s definitely found strength and made itself a companion!!<3 I am still trying to figure out about the 2 large heads that are on one of the plant’s underside. They are very large, and I’m afraid that they’re getting most of the nourishment instead of the little ones growing inside. Mom still seems strong, so I’m still watching, I just want the other babies to make it as well!! But, for never owning a succulent before, and having 3 types given to me at once, I think I’m proud of their current growth!! They were first planted 7/20/26:)!
Just had a couple days of light and moderate rains, and my clouds are breaking up in my favorite way!! Seeing rays of light, colors in the clouds, clouds blocking sunshine with shadows to make the sky look 2 different shades of blue, small gaps to grasp even more color (even by eye!)!!! Yes!!!
This tree is gonna get through no matter what!!
It looked bright pink in person, but I still don’t mind the color my phone captured:)! I know it’s due to the smoke from the wildfires happening, which is a tragedy, but I’ll still appreciate the beautiful things in life while I still have a chance!! I watched it for ~ an hour w/o realizing I had already accomplished my mission of taking a few pics!🫶
I am actually quite surprised as to how quickly my succs have started to bloom and grow! I didn’t even know that there were flowers in quite a few of them, but I’ve got buds and flowers in my Ice Plants, and my Hens and Chicks are loving the light out front, and a few have opened up more! Yay! I did slight watering today since we’re headed toward another heat wave…. I will definitely keep an eye on them throughout the upcoming days:P!!🤗
7/19/26 we could eat the smoke in MN while kayaking!! I’m definitely still feeling it today!! Exercising through wildfire smoke wasn’t the best idea! Still had fun, but yah, could just barely make out the trees across the lake!🥵😶🌫️ Couldn’t see much of the city coming home either!
Reminds me of the concept of a snowflake. This leaf still had a lot of strength, and it was only falling apart in external layers, so the internal veins were still visible in their intricate webbing of formation! It was done naturally, and I’ve never gotten to see so many different maps for strength:)! It may just be a simple leaf, but the internal structure was amazing to get to physically see!🥹
I found this in my yard today, thought it looked cool, cleaned off the dirt, and when I was standing a few feet away from it, letting it dry, I noticed that it looked like trees with a fading green background! The way the little moss have grown are a beautiful picture on such a small stone! It’s so cool<3!!
He’s been around for a while. I’m sure he has his reasons….
Curved building reflecting multiple layers of surrounding buildings and clouds:)!
Saw a Great Blue Heron, a Green Heron, some cutie toddler ducks (2 different families), little turtles snatching up the abundance of fish, and a little Green Frog that let me get extremely close for a picture!! I let him be, so he could continue hunting, but thanked him for letting me have the opportunity to see him closer;D!! I got a video of him croaking, and with how small these little guys are, they definitely make some noise! (The little yellow spot on the water in pic 5 is another froggy, with his throat showing:P)! Super cool!🤗🐟🐢🐸🦆🪶!!
Workers at Kings Road Merch also need our solidarity. In response to their unionization, Sony is threatening to close their warehouse! (Sorry if it’s been posted before, just got the news from a friend today…)
