Cozido das Furnas, an Azorean dish cooked using the geothermal heat from the Furnas calderas

Cozido das Furnas is a traditional Portuguese meat and vegetable stew unique to São Miguel island, cooked underground in volcanic fumaroles in the Furnas valley using natural geothermal heat for six to eight hours. The pot typically contains several cuts of pork, beef, chicken, chouriço, and morcela alongside cabbage, potatoes, and carrots. It is served at restaurants near the fumaroles, where the pots are retrieved each morning for lunch service.

TIL that in 1979, Italian punk band Skiantos performed at the Bologna Rock festival by bringing a kitchen on stage, boiling spaghetti, and eating it, without playing anything. When the audience protested, the lead singer told them they were too stupid to appreciate avant-garde art

Do you know where I can buy a cardboard cake box like this one?

I'm not sure if Coop/Migros sells them (probably just the plastic ones). I need it for Sunday, so online shops are not an option. Thanks!

I'm looking at a flight from Europe to Xian with a return from Beijing. The multi-city ticket would cost 1000€ more than a return to Beijing (business class), so I'm considering a self-transfer at PEK which would save me 600-700€ (arriving with Air France at 16:00 and catching an Air China flight to Xian at 20:30, the last one of the day).

Would 4.5h be enough for the self-transfer at PEK, including a potential delay? My understanding is that I will need to collect my luggage, clear immigration at PEK, go landside, and change terminal (T2-T3) regardless, even without the self-transfer.

In the worst case, missing the flight to Xian, I could spend the night at the airport and fly the next morning, and I would still save some money (I have a day I could potentially spare, but I would prefer to spend that day in Xian).

I'm also considering buying the Xian ticket last-minute while boarding in Paris, so I would already know about any delay before arriving. But I'm not sure how realistic that is with such short notice (I would buy it on Trip.com).

Multi-City Option

KL897 AMS-PEK arriving at 08:55

Transfer time 2h50

CA1223 PEK-XIY departing at 11:45

Self-Transfer Option

AF1815 CDG-PEK arriving at 15:55

(Self-)Transfer time 4h35

CA1247 PEK-XIY departing at 20:30

Thanks!
