TIL Inspector Mom was co-written by John Bloom, aka TV horror host Joe Bob Briggs
I thought it might have been a different John Bloom but nope it’s him. It’s even on his wiki filmography.
I don’t know what to do with this information

I recently bought the coolest thing from a random person on reddit- you pick any album and they’ll make a custom keychain-sized mini-CD of it, complete with tiny folding liner notes, even a tiny CD! Each one comes with an NFC tag inside, so you just tap it against your phone and it opens the album in a music app of your choice.
If you’d like one you can DM /u/uriarte69. I’m not affiliated with this person in any way, I just love these and wanted to share.
Hey girls, I thought a few of you might not have heard about this- there’s a kickstarter for an animated series created by Aussie trans comedian Cassie Workman, with Lilly Wachowski on board to produce. It looks super cute and is very nearly at its base goal! I would love to see this happen 💓
First off, I do think this voting thing is a really cool and unique idea. I assumed I would be inclined to vote for shows I was at, but I’m finding that doesn’t influence my vote at all.
That said, one of the best things about Lucro Sucio is how it flows effortlessly from one song to the next. It’s basically just one long song divided into movements. I do worry that having selections from different shows for each track might diminish some of that natural flow, but maybe it’s the sort of thing they can cover when they edit it all together.
What do y’all think?
From all of us… AND from Gillian Anderson
Clare McNulty (aka Chantal Witherbottom) is coming to Portland next week to show a sweet little short film called ROACH TRIP, which she wrote, directed, and stars in. It tells a funny and poignant story based on a real-life experience she had after Search Party ended.
Also features a cockroach puppet named Jeremy, and a cameo by Chris Fleming (yes, *that* Chris Fleming). 12-minute short film with Q&A to follow.
