Any idea what’s happening to this dahlia?

Thought it might be mites, treated with neem. Soil is moist but not overly so about 1/2 inches down. Heat in upper 80s full sun. Variety: Kelgai Ann cutting

That thang was thangin’ 🍑

Now what do I have to do or who do I have to pay to be built like a brick bc chileeeee. Shamea does the most but her body is TEA! Is this the power of a BBL. Kardashian WISH.

Jokes aside—I am here for K. Michelle’s antics bc we know Porsha likes to play dumb. The fact that she is twisted in knots over someone talking about her 🐱— chile R. kelly can’t even spell vagina! These are the kind of low level antics that send me. This might be unpopular but I’m here for K. Michelle. She has been entertaining…

What were your first season growing mistakes?

Feeling pretty low because I went on vacation and had 4 tubers rot on me. Trying to find a reason to keep going!

Would love to hear stories of learning and success…

Armchair diagnosing every interaction sucks the life out of these discussions

As a long-time bravo watcher I enjoy the valley because it fills a niche between the vanderpump and housewives generation.

It’s interesting to watch some of these people because the struggles are dramatic but familiar. I also appreciate the cast’s/producers willingness to be fairly open compared other shows that are way too packaged and overly produced.

Though I wish there was less of a need to armchair diagnose every minor interaction between the people on these shows and/or jump to conclusions based on the tiny fragment of their lives that we see.

Every mantrum “man tantrum” is not a secret signal for abuse.

Every anxiety a new mother shares does not equate post partum depression.

Some men are just assholes on any given day.

New parents are rightfully exhausted, nervous, and confused.

We’re watching imperfect people trying to figure it out.

Everything doesn’t have to be DARK. Am I the only one who appreciates this mess for what it is?!—Mainly a reminder that my life isn’t nearly as chaotic as I feel it is 🤣

Does it matter if you pinch after the 3rd or 4th set of leaves?

I have a Kelgai Ann and 20th Ave memory and wondering if I should pinch above 3rd or 4th set.

These were grown from cuttings. I want to put the cuttings in water and see if they’ll root… Has anyone had success with propagating this way? Or should I just stick with potting mix?

The show kind of hit a stride this episode...Janet trying way too hard, Zack developing pretend amnesia the moment someone starts stroking his ego, "Crazy Kirsten" (for old vanderpump fans) tossing around ominous threats, and the mask fully slipping on Daniel and Nia.

Danny didn't want Adelaide to be there, so Daniel—with the emotional IQ of a toddler—decided he's gonna be an a-hole and make this inconvenient and uncomfortable for Nia.

I do think it's interesting that they paid a nanny to travel with them but Nia didn't enlist her help at all, especially with how burnout she said she's been the last few episodes. And I wonder if it has something to do with Nia’s opinion on Danny’s drinking…

One thing about Nia is that she is very aware of the camera and I think she is also a lot more strategic than we give her credit for (blame the soft, baby voice). I wouldn't be surprised if she's keeping the baby close to reign Daniel and his "partying" in or keep the narrative focused on postpartum instead of the storm that's clearly brewing below the scenes—pun intended.

His insistence that he didn’t want to take the baby on the train bc he was “headed to get a coffee” was telling since people were already drinking and taking shots by then…

Edited to condense…

I have a few plants are are 12 inches or some and then a few tubers with 2 inches of spouts in raised beds.

What works for everyone? I have a habit of over or under watering because I have to do everything by hand. Zone 9b.

Two different plant. Both started at the same time, same soil, next to one another… any hope for the 2nd plant? These are double down, zone 9b

Hot water heater leaked about a month ago but it’s dry in the crawlspace underneath. Will this dry out? What will happen if the wood is not replaced?

Kristen is going thru a lot as a new mom. Luke is also a new dad. Neither one of them have extended family around (to my knowledge) making them each other's main support system so it makes total sense that they are struggling to meet each others needs. And yes, they'e both allowed to need things right now.

They def need couples therapy and while Luke needs to chill on trying to have sex, at times Kristen just comes off harsh and mean. I know, I know "fourth trimester," but honestly we have 8 seasons of Vanderpump Rules that suggests she's kind of always been a bit like this.

At the end of the day, they prob should have dated longer...

I have a lot of empathy for families who struggle with miscarriage and infertility, so I find the way Shamea and Gerald discuss male embryos/having a boy upsetting. The whole idea of gender selection is weird and considering all the complications they've faced health and surrogate-wise it seems they would be thankful for any healthy outcome whether its a boy or a girl—but their convos don't necessarily suggest this.

I know they've spoken about the amount of money they've spent on this process, $250K+ but the way it's discussed on camera I feel like they approach the situation as if it's something that can be solved if they pump enough money into it at the expense of Shamea's health, the surrogates' health, and the health of the children. (Shamea has done IVF 7 times and one of the surrogates they used was diagnosed with breast cancer during their pregnancy)

Sometimes these things are just not meant to be in our control. They truly have a beautiful set of girls, but I can't help but feel like they talk about having this boy, as if what they have and what they've already been thru is inconsequential.
