Im pretty set on buying one here soon and my budget is about $10,000. Im only interested in first gen manuals but I dont mind whether its a base, sl, or vr4. I plan to work on my own car but I dont want something that is going to be a serious project to get running. What should I look for and avoid? And should I avoid a vr4?
Ive been completely depressed for probably a year and cant get out. Recently because of stuff my mom has done this past year that ive tried to shut out and forget about, ive been having breakdowns. I had to talk about it to a therapist in front of both my parents because I refuse to live with my mom. I was shaking and stuttering so much I couldnt talk and I kept patting my knee super hard with my hand. Ive tried to shut everything out and no one around me knows about the things that have happened. Its gotten to the point that I feel like being so done with everything and being so distraught isnt justifiable and I just wish something horrible that everyone can see would happen so I can have a reason to feel this way. I feel like I havent had something bad enough happen and I feel horrible about this but a part of me wishes my best friend followed through with quitting life last year so it would be fair for me to be this way. I love him and I dont want to lose him. I just get so bad and cant feel justified. I dont know what to do anymore. I cant turn to weed or lust anymore because ive turned away from those for God and I wont go back. And I will never end my own life because I know God would be sad. I just cant live like this and I dont know how to change.
I was just listening to Careless Whisper and the chord progression during the famous sexy saxophone parts is very similar to the solo of Tornado of Souls. The chords are a step and a half apart but they are about the same progression I think. Im not educated at all in terms of music theory or anything like that I just play guitar. Am I right about how close they sound or am I crazy?
Ive been talking to this girl i really like. She knows Jesus and seems to live for him so I really like her.
And she'd been flirty from the start and I asked her to go on a date and she said yes she wanted to go and gave ideas. She said she didnt want to make plans yet and that was fine with me. Shes asked me if I wanted to go do things and ive told her id love to if she wants to. She messages me all the time about anything and we talked for 4 hours nonstop tonight.
I asked her what she wants in a relationship and she said she reall doesn't know and shes trying to figure that out. And that she really loves talking to me and wants to be be friends and see where things go.
I know things aren't over and we're still friends and she will still talk for hours but I just feel horrible right now. I just dont get why someone would be like this. And yes im gonna stick around because I seriously love this girl. I couldn't stop being friends just because its not working

Anyone else greatly disappointed they had to re-release the album with new versions? Ive listened to Exist live in think over 100 times and im so used to the exact times people would talk. And I hate how much they talk in the intro now. Its all screwed up bro. And now my listen count is reset. Its a shame.
How come 30 Seconds to Mars wrote one song that is absolute peak just to write a bunch of corny bland stuff? The Kill is such a good mix from Shoegaze emo to alt rock and its just great. But the rest is just like corny narratives and anticlimactic.
My friend asked the girl i like if she would bring this guy on a double date with him and this other girl and she said "I thought (insert my name) liked me lol." He responded with something like "would you give him a shot?" And he claims what she said is "I just want a summer fling." So I feel like that means the shots there. She also replied to my Instagram note the same day and I tried to be a little flirty. It really just feels off for some reason and im not sure what step to take after hearing "summer fling." Of course I know this means she doesnt want commitment but im hoping shes not looking for a sexual relationship more than kissing. Other than sexual reasons who has a summer fling?
Im looking for spots to jump in and swim. I found this Pic on the Google page for the park but its from 7 years ago. Does anyone know if its still like this? Or if there is any other non sketchy spot nearby? I understand a lot of people dont want to tell others but id really appreciate it if you would at least privately send spots.
Im usually a typical heavy metal guy and ive always listened to the band for aggressive angry metal. But for some reason my top 5 from the band is all ballads. Specifically Exist live at grammys, Cosmic, and (D)eath as they have a feeling to them. (D)eath makes me feel so comfortable and at ease unlike any song. Everyone always just says "its like Sinatra" but no Sinatra song feels like this. Ive found myself listening to it before I go to sleep very often and its just the only song that does what it does for me. It just makes me feel like im alone in some beautiful place where nothing matters and theres no stresses. I know the songs kinda about letting go and dying but it really lets me let go and live.
Im going to the Ohio Freestyle State Tournament later this month at Juinior 138 and I have a real shot at making Team Ohio. I placed 3rd at my qualifier but ive beat the kid who won it. On a different day I could have won the tournament. I should be seeded too 10 for the state tournament and only 4 make the team. What does making Fargo do for your career and what your advice? Its my first time doing Freestyle. How important is making Fargo compared to the folkstyle state tournament?
