Can y'all stop asking for skins?

Bhai even I don't have skins, that doesn't mean I'll go on some valorant subreddit and assume they're running some skin donation drive there. If you really want skins just go to some small youtube streamer who happens to be doing giveaways and stuff, or save up and wait for the next night market. Begging for skins here won't do anything, I see at least one post asking "Can someone gift me this skin pls 🥹" per day.

Is going abroad worth the effort right now?

Hi, I'm a 4th year aerospace btech student. My gate attempt this year didn't go too well so I'm planning to rewrite next year (I graduate in october this year). Most of my classmates are starting to apply abroad and the problem is I have ZERO knowledge of the whole process to apply for colleges in countries like Germany, Netherlands, etc in Europe. I have no idea which colleges require IELTS or GRE or dMAT. I have not made a list of foreign universities to apply to and have no idea about scholarships and stuff either.

I have just been preparing for gate this past year and I've kept it as my main priority. However, I'm aware that keeping a foreign application as backup is necessary. Idk how to clear this dilemma, any advice is appreciated.

"I'm so happy they exist": which band has made you feel this way?

I was listening to the latest Kingdom of Giants track and it genuinely just made me "appreciate the whole existence" of that band. Almost no other band (except Northlane) has achieved that perfect blend of electric, cyberpunk-ish metalcore imo.

What band has made you feel like this folks?

Looking for fellow musicians

Honestly I found no other sub for this lol.

21M here, I'm a BTech graduate. I love F1, anime, rock/metal music and Valorant. I've been playing drums for 7-8 years and have had zero luck finding people in Trivandrum to jam with. If you wanna connect please feel free to reach out.

Something I noticed about this sub

For some reason every post starting with "22f / hey 21f here" get so much engagement compared to men posting something similar. It's like people don't even wanna comfort someone unless they declare they're female lol. Also, before even reading out the post written by a woman, I'll see plenty of comments saying "please dm if you wanna talk" yeah stfu where is this energy when the post starts with "21M"?

To all the men here who are getting zero help in this sub because of this bs, please don't get discouraged. It always gets better, keep your head high.

Buying a house in tvm

22M, me and my family have been living on rent for a few years now and we're planning to buy a house. My parents aren't on the best terms and my dad is way too busy so I've been given the job to look for options lol.

We're looking for a 3bhk flat or independent house (but preferably flat), with 80-90 L budget in the karyavattom or sreekaryam area. If anyone can tell me where to look or what procedure to follow while looking for houses in tvm it'd be very much appreciated.

Your least favourite song by your favourite band?

I fucking love Crystal Lake but their song Just Confusing is honestly very confusing. What about y'all?

Members for Battle of Bands at MOT

Saw this on insta. I (21M) can play drums. If anyone's interested or needs a drummer for their band, do let me know (There's a prize pool of 50k for the top 3 bands too)

Anyone interested in electric propulsion?

Seems to be a very niche topic in aerospace currently (especially in India) but I'm really interested in Hall Effect Thrusters, etc. I've made 1-2 projects related to the same and wanted to see if anyone else here is also interested in this topic.

New band members who people still refuse to acknowledge?

Pretty much what the title says, there are many instances in the genre where a beloved band member left and the new guy had some pretty large shoes to fill, but even after doing a great job as a replacement the community still fails to appreciate them. I think a huge example is Tom (new clean vocalist) of Bury Tomorrow. Jason was an absolute angel on the vocals but Tom has done an amazing job with the band and their last two albums imo. I feel like since Jason left, the band stopped "relying" on his cleans as their identity and grew so much more as a band too. What other examples can you think of?

Does anyone else like the riffs --> chugs + leads shift many bands have had lately?

It seems like a pretty widespread thing when bands go from doing proper guitar riffs to just doing chugs with some lead work in the background. The biggest example I can think of is While She Sleeps (Sean is an amazing guitarist don't get me wrong). Do y'all like this transition bands have had too? Or does not having riffs compromise the overall song quality?

Which vocalist is holding back?

Dani from Bury Tomorrow has some stellar vocals but dude does some Will Ramos level shit on live shows and a few BT songs (Yokai, for example). It made me wonder what other vocalists in the genre have the ability to go brutal as hell but hold back in their songs. Any other vocalists who fit in here?

Masters in India vs abroad

I'm in my fourth year of aerospace and I have two options for masters, either go abroad or clear gate and do it in India

I'm not able to figure out which is a better option overall. I wrote gate this year too and barely missed out from qualifying (I'm gonna attempt next year too).

I have no idea about how the whole process in getting an admission abroad works, and I can't go unless I get a scholarship. Can someone compare both these options and give me a final verdict?

Need some guidance for GATE

I'm a final year btech aerospace student at a tier 2-2.5 college and my gate attempt this year wasn't really good. I'll get my degree only around the end of this year because that's when our convocation is (all my coursework and college stuff is completed), so I'm planning to dedicate this year just for gate prep and give another attempt next year. Is this a good idea? Can anyone also suggest me how to plan out these further 8 months for gate aerospace prep? (I have joined online coaching already)
