Intense fear of driving?

Hi, I am 19M, my parents are pushing me to get a driver's license but honestly I am still scared shitless that I am going to be a terrible driver,

my special awareness and coordination is already so bad, I can't imagine having to navigate it in a hugh-speed vehicle.

My inattention already causes me lots of mishaps, whenever I am in the car with someone else and they do a crazy last-minute maneuver I just sit there like "if I was the one driving we'd be fucking dead"

I can be extremely impulsive, it is entirely possible that I just end up doing something reckless for the hell of it, and I am scared of putting on a song I like and speeding up while listening to it recklessly.

Finally, I live in a country with notorious bad drivers and unregulated street traffic, it is super hard to navigate a car there.

I mean this is all in my favor, I always preferred public transit anyway for environmental reasons, anyone else in the same boat?

Is it normal to not feel the presence of Sertraline 50mg?

19M, like genuinely I feel like I take it out of habit, I would say I took sertralije 50mg for 4 months in total, for 2 weeks a psych switched me to 100mg but then I got back instantly to 50mg with no problems, now I am considering titrating down to zero, will I feel the come off? I am outside the country and it is supee hard to get a prescription right now, +my family's been a pain in the ass, I have 3 pills left, I have been alternating between 50mg and 25mg for the past week, and skipped like 2 pills with no problem, is it safe to just split every pill left so I can cover 25mg over 6 days?

I plan on coming off because I feel like my tics have been increased after zoloft, and I fear that it is tampering with the effectiveness of my adhd meds (36mg concerta +10mg ritalin)

Switching from 10mg ritalin to 36mg concerta with ritalin add-on, kind of hopeless tbh

The meds are in my bedside drawer, the doctor told me to take my concerta early morning after breakfast and ritalin as an evening add-on.

I am hopeless because my experience so far with IR methylphenidate has been disappointing, I didn't feel anything on 10mg, nor 15, nor 20.... keep in mind the ir I was taking was from an iranian company and the meds were called practisa so maybe there was something wrong with them.

But to tell you the truth, I am a uni student paying out of pocket for something that my family is entirely against (and they make sure I know that) and I am trying to convince them and myself that it IS helping when actually it's not,

I feel like I am hit with a big middle finger from life and I am both scared and excited for tomorrow, I literally can't afford upping the dose again, and there is no other option than methylphenidate in my country.

Success stories would be greatly appreciated.

And if anyone has a technique for "testing" the efficacy of the dose please do share it so I can try it. I am currently on summer vacation so I can't really try the meds for studying.

Why are the new killers SO stiff??

Like looking back at how smooth and snappy artist's ink hands were, I see no reason as to why the new killer feels like she is made of rocks, and don't get me started on the mori the survivor's expressions feel so lifeless.

Should I just accept that I will remain alone?

I can't be attached to someone for an extended amount of time, I can't bear commitments, I can't bear structures.

I currently live in the uni dorms, and I always decline going with someone in the morning for lectures because I am impatient, won't organize plans with anyone because I want to comfortably be spontaneous without it annoying anyone, won't stay up with other students at night because I don't enjoy their convos and I HATE mindlessly playing cards.

I know so many people and I get giddy everytime I meet anyone, I spend time with people when going out of lectures and if I see them by coincidence, but the moment the term ends it's like I meet them for the first time the next term because I forget what anyone means to me. (which is literally ruining my life).

I am homosexual in a homophobic country, as much as I already struggle deeply with being engaged with anyone for an extended amount of time, it seems unlikely that I'll ever find another homosexual guy, let alone one that I'll actually love and still be interested in for a long time.

What do I do with myself? Medication won't do shit for this problem...

I don't want to get involved into hookup culture because I know I'll get addicted to it, and right now I am considering whether my anxious attachment was way better for me than having secure relationships, atleast it gave me intense hits of emotion.

Help me understand my cousin

Hiya, me and my cousin finally met again after a two year cutoff (different countries, both of us started uni...) and we've been meeting everyday for about two weeks now, but the problem is that she is driving me nuts, I never said a single word to here and I don't plan on having a fight with her, but whenever we are out with her and my aunt she never eats anything off the menu, and she gets super defensive when I tell her to try something, like an immediate "I hate it", to give her the benefit of the doubt she may have had previous instances of people insisting further unless she gave a crude, direct "no" so I don't mind.

But in general she is super intolerant for change, super inflexible and immature, we are currently visting my grandpa in the hospital everyday but the fights she has with my aunt in the car all the time are getting infuriating, shit like "I don't want to go to that wedding invite" "I don't want to try this" and other super petty and annoying nagging.

We're both 19, I still have not snapped at her, and whenever she gets annoyed and stars to throw a fit I say "my mistake, I said something rude and you're super tired/hungry/worried/...etc".

I don't know if this fits the sub, I am sorry, I try to understand her because I am diagnosed adhd myself (her mom is also super adhd though undiagnosed) so I know what it feels like to not be understood, I know that she doesn't choose to be so picky and intolerant to novelty and change, but she is the polar opposite of me and I just want to know why she might be this way, could she be on the spectrum maybe?

Playing with a calculator from now on

For those who don't know:

>Dyscalculia: a lifelong, neurodevelopmental learning disorder that specifically affects a person’s ability to understand numbers and perform math.

>It is often referred to as "math dyslexia". People with dyscalculia have an impaired intuitive grasp of numbers and struggle with basic arithmetic, estimation, and sequential memory

My aunt started crying when I told her about ADHD

A couple of days ago my auntie lovingly told me how much I remind her of her 9 yo son, I started asking about "character traits" that were adhd symptoms and the more I went on the more surprised she got.

Eventually I told her about adhd, I started telling her about all the bad things it is doing to my life, and at that moment she could only think of how she doesn't understand why her son throws frequent tantrums or gets too clingy to her or has a strong sense of righteousness, she felt so guilty for waving his every struggle off as "some kids are just a pain in the ass" when I finally got to the time blindness she lost it and started crying, blaming herself for getting impatient because of how much he asks about the time in comparison to her other kids.

She said that she doesn't see it as a disorder, that it is what made her son be the loving, empathetic, unique and charming boy that he is, she said that it is up to her to know how to correctly deal with him

His twin sister is also super adhd (my auntie showed me a video of her telling the theater teacher "please don't make me say all that, I have a terrible memory") and she is dyslexic, I kind of feel bad for being happy that my cousins are dealing with my struggles, but I am also very thankful that such bright, beautiful children can learn from my experience. I am so happy I had this convo with my auntie, it actually helped her accommodate her boy even better and she is now considering diagonsis and meds for both children.

THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE

WHAT ARE ALL THESE RULES GOOD FOR WHEN THEY ***ALLOW*** PEOPLE TO TRAMPLE OVER OUR GREAT LEADER???

THIS IS A BREACH OF ROYAL PROTOCOL, THIS IS AN ATTACK ON HIS MAJESTY'S SOVEREIGNTY, WHAT WILL BECOME OF US WHEN WE UNDERMINE OUR ONE AND ONLY RAY OF HOPE???

WE ***MUST*** CRACK DOWN ON THOSE SEPARISTS TRYING TO PIN US UP AGAINST EACH OTHER

ANYONE WHO REFERS TO HIS MAJESTY BY HIS MAJESTY'S FIRST NAME ***MUST*** BE EXECUTED OR ***AT THE VERY LEASTTTTT*** BANNED IF WE ARE TO SAVE THE LAST GLIMMER OF HOPE WE HAVE FOR SURVIVAL.

ALL HAIL HIS MAJESTY'S EXCELLENCE, INTELLIGENCE AND HANDSOMENESS TO NAME A FEW OF HIS ***ENDLESS*** OTHER QUALITIES.
