Can you use digital forms of ID to get a new birth certificate? (QLD)

When you go into the court house to give them your ID can you use your digital license and Medicare card? And do you need the print out the utility bill, rental agreement etc or can you show a pdf?

When you go in to give you IDs can you sue digital license, Medicare and utility account/rental agreement? Or do they need physical copies and everything printed?

Will maccas hire you at 21?

Need a new job while in uni, put in an application and it just automatically gave me an interview time for tomorrow. I’ve heard they mostly want juniors for cheap labour, will they still hire me? I do have retail/hospitality experience.

Does this chunk out of my tyre matter?

There’s no actual hole but can it affect the strength of the tyre or something? There was a concrete bump in the middle of two way driveway that I didn’t see.

In uni, applying for a casual job, should I put that I need 2 months off for placement on the application?

For context it specifically asks if I “have any leave requirements” on the application website. It’s just a normal retail job at a clothing store. I am not currently employed because I have just moved, but I need a new job because I have a 2 month placement coming up and I want to save some money for it. Should I tell them about it? I feel like they won’t give me the job, my past job had issues with my placements too. It’s understandable because if you’re away for a month someone is going to take on your hours and doesn’t want to give them back.
Should I just say no, work for a few months, then quit if they don’t want me back after placement?

Will this work? And which version would work better?

I am new to this, is it ok to hand draw the patterns? This is just a draft the final one will be a bit more polished, less wonky.

What is the source of the video he is talking about? I just doubt what he’s saying is 100% true so I’d like to check for myself, like a news article.

First piece 🪷

A little dodgy in some areas, I had to fill some gaps with copper foil and I couldn’t get the centres of the Lilly pads to be thin, but I am happy with how it turned out overall.
Credit to @curiositygardenglass on instagram for the design.

New glasses distort my peripheral vision

You can see in the lenses how there is a circular bit, the area around that is distorted, it makes me feel like I have motion sickness sometimes and feels uncomfortable to drive with. These frames are larger than my last pair. I get them thinned down to the max option. Why is this happening, is it normal or a fault? It has been about a week since getting them, should I keep them for a bit longer to see if my eyes adjust?

My script is +5.75 and +6

How to I make my hair look better?

I want it to be less dull and more shiny/silky, near the roots are ok but the ends just look fluffy and dull. I don’t like all of those little bits that stick out. You can see the bits sticking out best in the second and last photos, and my hair can get quite frizzy.
Right now I am using moo goo sensitive scalp shampoo and conditioner, and the moo goo “protein shot” leave in conditioner. I have had to start blow drying my hair every time I wash it because I have moved to a cold area, I apply the leave in conditioner before blow drying.
I would appreciate any product or care recommendations 😊
My hair holds on to a lot of water and takes a long time to dry naturally, does not hold a curl at all and is straight, maybe this will help with determining what my hair needs.

3rd year regret and burn out

Edit: Thank you everyone for the kind comments! It was helpful to hear everyone’s point of views and it has given me hope that it will get better. I appreciate the advice and solidarity 🫶🏻 I am going to try to tough it out.
Good luck to everyone in a similar situation!
———————————-
I am in my 3rd year, I have one more semester after this one and my last placement is 8 weeks next semester. I feel like I started having tiny doubts half way through, but I pushed on because I had already spent a year and a half doing it and everyone says to just keep going it gets better, or you won’t regret it. But all I feel is dread and anxiety for placement and the future, my placement is not until October and I feel like I think about it everyday. The workload this year feels less than last year but somehow I still feel overwhelmed, maybe I’m just burnt out. My main passions when I was younger were environmental science and art (mainly painting and stained glass), but my family always said that I would never get a job in fields like this, and if I did I’d be living pay check to pay check. I did always have a slight interest in healthcare but now I don’t know if that was me forcing myself to like it to make my family happy. There have been points where I have liked this degree, like a few classes and when I had a really supportive facilitator it made a big difference, but it has been overwhelmingly negative for my mental and physical health, I have probably put on 15kg.
Also my gpa is terrible, 4.8, I usually get good ANSAT scores, but the gpa is very discouraging, and it makes it worse that so many of the classes feel pointless. I swear I’ve have done 6 separate classes on cultural safety, I think 1 or 2 is enough. I thought about doing something like sonography as a post grad, I am more interested in this than nursing, but my gpa would be a problem for post grad study. I didn’t do it originally because the only medical imaging bachelor in Brisbane was qut with a 99.5 atar requirement 😵.
I’m almost finished this degree, and I should feel excited but I’m scared to start a job and I’m worried about making mistakes and what I will do if I hate the job. I don’t know what to do at this point.
Sorry this post is just one big rant/ramble

Why are my plants getting purple leaves?

It is happening on multiple different plants, the one in the pic is a pansy. Also happening to alyssum and snap dragons, but those ones are less splotchy looking and more of an obvious purple colour. They get full sun for part of the day, they are planted in a garden bed in the ground.
I water seedlings in the garden beds daily or every second day, and the larger plants like this pansy every few days when I remember. They are in a combination of the soil that was there in the ground (it was quite rocky) and premium potting mix + mushroom compost. That is a thinner layer of lucerne mulch on top.
This is my first time planting a flower garden so i appreciate any tips.

My first oil painting 🐈

I really couldn’t get the stars or whiskers to look clean, even after letting it dry a bit. Any tips on oil painting or for this painting specifically?

What does an agency AIN do on night shift?

I have just started an agency ain job, I have never worked in the area before, the only experience I have is from nursing placements. I have been rostered a shift tonight at an aged care facility, does anyone have any tips? What is expected of me?
If they use an online documentation system, how do I document things, or do I just relay info to another ain/nurse?
The agency that hired me hasn’t really given me any guidance, but I think that’s normal.
I have had two shifts so far, both at different facilities and I feel very lost.
