I am currently doing job as a fresher and pay is good but i fear about future of my job and i hear from my parents daily to try upsc as u r from iit so u can do it.

My questions are

1. Should i leave my job for prep?

2. I am very good at math logical reasoning and apti in general (I got over 99 in cat without prep)will that help for upsc which is kind of theory exam ?

3. Is preparation along side job possible ?

4. I see relatives getting stuck in loop for 4 5 yrs and that scares me and feel like if i fail i wont get any job so should i consider that ?

I need something realistic not like motivation

I recently got a job and tax got deducted for joining bonus and also the salary.

The total deductions were too much considering till march tax for me was less than this.

I have few questions

1.Will i get that back if yes how ?

2.For calculating tax should i consider income before tax deduction or after?

3.I opted for essp so it gets deducted so tax calculation will be on post deduction amount right ?

4. How is tax calculated for esops considering i work for us company?

5. Should i sell stocks before march or after for tax minimising?

6. Do i have to pay tax for esops to us or india and will there be any short term or long terms gain tax ?
