Any lgbt bars around?

Any lgbt bars around?

I kinda live in the middle of nowhere, but don’t mind traveling towards some of these cities! Preferably bogalusa, picayune, & Wiggins areas as they are closer, but hattiesburg and Gulfport aren’t too bad

Looking to rehome 2 birds

Our roommate is moving out soon and leaving behind her birds. We can’t afford to keep them and don’t really want them.. so we are looking to rehome them. I don’t know much about them, but they both are from the same breeder, male & female, the male is a few years old and the female is about 1 year? They seem to be quite picky and won’t eat any treats roommate buys. They’ll come with their cage, food, treats, etc. but they’ll need to be picked up in Pearl River county

I really need help for my teeth :(

Please be kind, I am quite ashamed..

❤️❤️Edit:
Thank you guys for all of the recommendations! To answer a few questions, no sadly I’m not on Medicaid as I do not qualify until I’m 21. I am disabled but am struggling to get diagnosed due to my situation, and my family didn’t help when I was a minor. So it’s rough to get help from the state but I’m hoping social security works with me soon!

I’m going to call UMMC on Monday, and try to get some help from them. If they do have availability, I’ll try to save $ to get an uber to NOLA and take the Amtrak up. It seems like my cheapest option. Thank you guys so much!

❤️❤️

I’m almost 21, and while I was a teenager I was extremely depressed. After years of brushing quite rarely, I have some rough cavities. I have a hole in my bottom left second molar. Im doing my best to take care of it. I chew on the right side, brush everyday, and use alc free pronamel toothpaste. I also floss and use a pick to keep it clear. It’s starting to hurt and smell..

I also have 2 wisdom teeth that have broken through partially, and can feel the other two coming in.

I have no insurance, no car, and am disabled. I’m honestly scared for when things start hurting. I live in rural south Mississippi, and all of the places I’ve been recommended, don’t do wisdom teeth extractions, or are really far away.

Really, I need a miracle. If anyone can help with some advice or recommendations, please let me know! I don’t want $ or anything like that, I just need a dentist willing to work with me or something 😣

ISO $250 fridge to be delivered to Poplarville

I rent, and our fridge has been finicky since we moved in. It recently started cutting out and leaking water like crazy. Inside and outside of it lol.

The landlord gave us $250 to get a new fridge but it’s hard to find something good! If anyone has one laying around, please let me know!

My doorway into the home is 6 ft tall and about 2ft 7in wide so it would need to fit through there. TIA <33

I think I have an irrational fear of trees falling on my house

I want to start with an apology. I live in the Deep South, and this storm has me shaking at 4am so this might be a mess. This is mostly to vent, but any advice is very much welcome

I have never had this kind of anxiety about bad weather before. Growing up, I of course worried about the what ifs but could move on and forget about it. But recently, it’s all I can think about even when there’s light wind/rain.

We have a big tree like 2-3 feet from our trailer. It’s quite an old one (seems like 70s era based on wallpaper etc), and not very structurally sound. The cherry on top? It’s right next to my bedroom window.

I am TERRIFIED of it falling on me, my gf, or just my room in general😭 it’s SO tall and would completely demolish it. We rent, and there’s no way our landlord would just have the tree removed for me. When it’s super windy, small tree branches and sticks fall, and even sometimes massive limbs. There’s a HUGE one stuck up there from earlier tonight. It gets in the way of my sleep, and I’ve even had to wake up my gf once so we could go sleep on the floor on the other side of the house. (She’s so supportive and helpful I love her)

But how the hell do I stop freaking out like this? I have no clue why this has come up all of a sudden, and in such a huge way. I think for the most part, I’m just worried about ending up homeless or something because of it. Or maybe getting severely injured? Maybe my gf getting severely injured? They are all big reasons, but WHY is it so bad 😭 like tornados don’t scare me more than the average person, and that would surely just take my trailer right off the bricks. What’s with this tree💔💔

My FP and I seem to be drifting and it really sucks.

I’ve known FP for about 8 years. We’ve trauma bonded, helped each other financially & emotionally, and hes saved my life on multiple occasions. And I’ve done the same for him. We text everyday, and always say good morning & night.

Recently, he’s been VERY busy. He’s in college, has a job, and is making lots of new friends. I’m SO beyond proud of him for how far he’s come, but I can’t help but feel jealous. I really miss the bond we used to have, and I’m scared to lose him. The texts are down to 1-2 responses a day, besides the occasional conversation that rarely gets finished, which is very different from our usual (many hours long conversations each day)

He apologizes a lot for not talking much, and I always tell him not to. I 100% understand, and don’t mind. But part of me does get quite sad. He’s got a new friend he met, and they hang out almost every day it seems. (Most responses to “what did you do today” involve the friend) We’ve lived about an hour from each other for a few years, so we rarely hangout anymore. For some reason, I’m SO jealous of their relationship. It’s so frustrating because I’m truly so happy he’s making friends and getting out more.

Sigh. I know I need to accept that we aren’t teens anymore, and that we’re adults with lives.

If anyone has any advice on how to manage these things, I’d really appreciate it :)

Seeking advice on caring for my 5yo brother🙏

Hi, Im 20F and living with my 19yo gf. In about 1-2 weeks, my younger brother is going stay with us for a few months. Some weekends he will be with my mom. My mom and I have a very rocky relationship, but she’s struggling and needs me to help with him. Which I’m happy to, since I raised him already from birth to 3.

The issue is, I have no clue what I’m doing with a 5 year old. He’s very ADHD, and quite independent. He’s been raised on tough love, spankings, and if it’s anything close to my upbringing,, then the poor kid needs someone to listen to him, before yelling.

We’re quite broke, and honestly. I’m worried. Food we can afford, but beyond that, I’m unsure. This isn’t something I want to say no to, for many reasons. He needs a little break from the drama that’s been going on, my mom needs to get back on her feet, and well I ofc want to see him. She said she’d bring anything he needs, so I’m banking on that. (She’s quite untrustworthy)

I guess I’m just looking for advice on crazy 5 year olds? I went in blind before, but I want to be better prepared for the sake of all of us lol. What kinds of crazy things should I be prepared for? We also hand wash our laundry, so how should I go about washing stinky kid clothes?🤢 Thankfully, he’s fully potty trained and can do all of that himself. But we only have a shower, how do I go about teaching him to shower instead of have a bath? What do I do when he throws a fit? I’m not into corporal punishment, but my mom is. How do I find a middle ground, so he listens but also doesn’t go back home and not listen to my mom?

I’m very excited, but stressed, as I’m a huge planner and love having my ducks in a row. Kids just don’t mix well with that though.

Feel free to ask any questions!! TIA 😁🙏🙏
