Two kittens, two different owners
Hello, I'm coming for advice because me and my sister (both previous kitten/cat owners multiple times) have just gotten kittens and I would like some advice because this situation is a bit tough for me, for context I'm a minor and my sister is 18!!
My sister is usually out of the house during the afternoon so I'm watching her kitten, (Tiffany) and obviously my kitten (Réna) anyways, Tiffany is eating hard food, my sister chose that, and Réna is eating both, which I chose. Now during the period I'm watching Tiffany she tries eating my cats soft food, so I'll bring Tiffany's bowl in and she won't eat it and just keeps going for Réna's soft food...
The advice I'm asking for is, is this something I should control? My mom told me to just let her but I told her I'm trying to watch my cats eating throughout the day, and I also told her I read somewhere that it's good for kittens to not eat from the same bowl so they don't do it later on! So is this something that should be controlled or is it no biggie? Thanks!!
Also I just have one more question to spare me from making another post, since the kittens have different owners and different bedrooms, should we try to limit their time together? Cause they slept in my room the first night and I think they were used to that because my cat Réna was meowing for the other cat, I don't want them to be used to playing together or sleeping in the same room, or is it better for them to? (I don't always want Tiffany in my room🥹) THANKS FOR THE ADVICE TO ANYONE WHO REPLIES!😭
