Why do so many people rage after losing a round by a lot? Isn't it the most amazing feeling doing a comeback?
Too many people be raging after losing a round by a lot or when they only have like 50 points left.
It's such an awesome feeling doing the impossible comebacks.
People need to chill. It's not fun for anyone if you're raging.
CMV: The silence from Reddit corporation and large subreddit mods about the KIDS Act, which will require mass surveillance, ban speech, and require ID verification to use the internet, is deeply concerning.
Reddit corporation and Reddit mods used to use this platform for social change on internet usage, but now everyone is silent. Reddit and Reddit mods played a huge part in stopping SOPA and advocating for net neutrality. Yet right now, one of the most draconian bills to ever get into US Congress has passed the House and very well might pass the Senate and be signed into law.
The KIDS Act will require mass surveillance, banning free speech, and ID checks to use the internet.
Maybe this is about the shifting demographics about people who use Reddit, but this place used to be a loud voice on internet freedom advocacy, and now it seems to have completely vanished. I can see corporate Reddit selling out, but all the top mods aren't using their platforms for this advocacy now either. This is/was one of the few places where online grassroots action could take off and make huge differences, but now that's seemingly gone. This is really concerning for the future of freedom on the internet.
RCS will no longer work with certain VPN servers
RCS won't send or receive messages while connected under some VPN servers.
This is beyond fucking stupid.

abc7ny.comHow bad was walking around Seoul pre-EVs?
I spent a few weeks in Seoul and there were a lot of, but thankfully a manageable, amount of cars and trucks spewing exhaust all over making stinkies.
I'm guessing it's way better now, so I'm wondering how bad it was maybe like 10-15+ years ago? Was it rough just walking around?
The ESM and Security repos won't connect if connected to VPN to do update/upgrade
I'm guessing this is due to the attacks, but blocking access when using a VPN is pretty fucking crazy. A lot of people use VPNs with Linux because of obvious security concerns.
You scan your boarding pass to get on the plane. You walk down the walkway to board the plane. There was a person right near the plane entrance with a clipboard (with only 5 non-Korean names on it which I wasn't on) who "randomly" selects people for extra screening. If you're not on the list and are "randomly" selected, the clipboard person writes the seat number down underneath the other names. I was "randomly" selected for extra screening where they took all my electronics out and did some explosion wipe down thing and put it in a machine. I had a lot of shit they had to go through, so in total I saw 8 other people get "randomly" selected, all were conveniently non-Korean looking, on a flight where the majority of people are Korean or Korean looking.
Anyone else have a similar experience? Is this US government policy? Or was this Korean airport staff a bit biased?
