not trying to start unnecessary drama, just think people should know before they end up hiring off a copied post. screenshots attached for anyone who wants to compare side by side.

i just got done with my portfolio, and would like to know if there's any changes/improvements i should make. I don't know a lot about ugc, like inbound/outbound or what ad rights are, etc. so some guidance, and advice would be appreciated.

i used to make art when i was younger, contemporary and abstract mostly. this was in 2021-2023, and back then i remember people were quite discouraging of a career in arts since it was thought it would not generate a stable, long-term income. i didn't agree with that and still don't. but eventually i dropped out of arts, due to having terrible experiences with really insecure mentors/teachers.

years late, today, i am still passionate about creating art. i do it in many different ways. film, content, writing, designing, etc. just not painting, but i want to get back into it.

so i want to know, from people who actually became artists, how much do you make off of each painting? and, do people actually buy art nowadays in pakistan?

how did you put your artwork out there for people to purchase?

hi guys, im a student (22f) and im saving up to purchase an ipad. i wont be able to manage the brand new ones, but a secondhand one is probably good enough for me. i wanna use for taking notes, designing, reading and studying too probably. but mostly for my freelancing.

(22F) I moved to Pakistan around 5 years ago, from KSA –– I was born and raised there but I'm a Pakistani. After moving here, i noticed that people don't really prioritize religion much, especially islam.

I've seen people openly choose not to fast in ramadan because they get too hungry, or have an exam, people don't pray because they believe it doesn't contribute anything to their lives (aside from people who genuinely struggle with praying), people have haram relationships, involve themselves in zina, then also openly talk about it, and the struggles they face after involving themselves in such things.

It just makes me wonder, if part of that reason is because they are so distant from the core of their religion, even when they have the choice to relearn it on their own terms –– away from the lens the culture makes us see it through?

Or is it because of the years of conservativeness that has developed this forced rebellion in them to go against everything and turn to such things?
Like, is it the years of generational dabao on children which has led to people being this way nowadays...?

I'm not accusing anyone, or blaming them, just wondering why this is the deal and if its just me who feels this way?

(22F) i am an ex-resident of madinah. my family and i were all born and raised there so it is home for us. we got blacklisted and sent on khurooj under a false allegation after our father passed away. we tried our best to stay but a letter was submitted to the ministry saying that we were illegal residents and got caught in a raid. all of which was untrue. originally, we were told that we are being sent away for just a year. after a year we were told we have been deported for 3 years. after 3 years, we were told its actually 5 years.

the shocking aspect of this is, we were unaware of everything until we tried to apply for a visa and got rejected by the embassy, that is when we found out it was cause we had been blacklisted not for 1, 3, or 5 years. but 10 years.

it has been 5 years since and the thing is we cannot apply for any visa other than umrah.

so my question is can i still find someone to sponsor an umrah visa? and if not, how do i apply for a umrah visa if i dont have a sponsor? what documents would i need? and is there any way to quickly secure it?

i want to go back in any way i can, even if just for umrah.

any suggestions, or advice would be very much appreciated. jazakallahu khayr.
