I felt low blood sugar coming on and my husband suggested I check it. He left me use his meter- with the needle in a common spring-loaded trigger. I rubbed my arm, pressed the trigger and a small bead of blood came up as expected. Number was 112. The spot immediately began to bruise- just the size of the trigger thing which was 1/4" wide. Three days later and it has grown to an inch wide and swelling a bit. I know this isn't normal. I can't imagine having to check my numbers three or four times a day and getting bruised like this. What gives?

I was looking up 569 Van Buren St, the home of artist LeRoy Neiman. I did a 360° and these cars were parked across the street.

My Elizabeth is 8 mos old, and I just assumed she would be a lap dog. My previous dogs, a rat terrier and a dachshund were glued to my side in the recliner. Elizabeth hates being on my lap. Immediately jumps down. It kinda hurts my feelings. I know that's silly, but it makes me feel unloved.

I've changed the blade twice and every time it cuts a very slight scallop and not a straight line. Any insight?

EDIT- every suggestion was excellent and you know what yes, I did have fresh blade and it's only one blade, but I realized that I was kind of in a hurry and my blade is against the ruler but at a slight angle and I went back and carefully cut again, making sure the blade was at a 90° angle to the surface and it worked great. Thank you guys for all the suggestions and I'm just gonna be more careful now.

The machine (Singer Quantum) ran smoothly but now it makes a ticking sound since I brought it home. The needle is hitting a piece in the bobbin case. Help please.

After the spay and dewclaw removal they said the PAPER e-collar had to stay on for two weeks. It crumpled from the start, but even though I pay a month wellness plan that stupid collar cost $13 extra. Two claws removed $320 extra. So I got this $12 recovery suit from Amazon and it's perfect. Covers her tummy incision and back leg claw stitches. Plus she looks so cute!

think it was older than the house, because we did some remodeling in the house, exposing the studs, and all the nails are nothing like these. And the beams in the garage were hand-hewn with carved wooden pegs as nails.

She had a spay and dewclaw removal on her back legs. One bandage fell off and I need to know if that's OK. The other one in photo is hanging on. It's only been three days and the doctor says she has to be kept quiet in her pan for two weeks. I tried to call the Pet hospital and they are closed and even there chat line won't answer so I know you guys here would be able to help me. I guess I leave it. I honestly can't imagine a bandage staying on for two weeks. I'm getting a violation alert but hope it's not against the rules.
