My Olfa cutter cuts scallops. Why?

My Olfa cutter cuts scallops. Why?

I've changed the blade twice and every time it cuts a very slight scallop and not a straight line. Any insight?

EDIT- every suggestion was excellent and you know what yes, I did have fresh blade and it's only one blade, but I realized that I was kind of in a hurry and my blade is against the ruler but at a slight angle and I went back and carefully cut again, making sure the blade was at a 90° angle to the surface and it worked great. Thank you guys for all the suggestions and I'm just gonna be more careful now.

I found the problem- now how to fix it?

The machine (Singer Quantum) ran smoothly but now it makes a ticking sound since I brought it home. The needle is hitting a piece in the bobbin case. Help please.

Her e-collar lasted two days.

After the spay and dewclaw removal they said the PAPER e-collar had to stay on for two weeks. It crumpled from the start, but even though I pay a month wellness plan that stupid collar cost $13 extra. Two claws removed $320 extra. So I got this $12 recovery suit from Amazon and it's perfect. Covers her tummy incision and back leg claw stitches. Plus she looks so cute!

These nails are heavy and square. They look corroded? What type of metal was used to make these?

They came out of a garage or small barn that we tore down
when we bought a farmhouse. I
think it was older than the house, because we did some remodeling in the house, exposing the studs, and all the nails are nothing like these. And the beams in the garage were hand-hewn with carved wooden pegs as nails.

Bandage fell off

She had a spay and dewclaw removal on her back legs. One bandage fell off and I need to know if that's OK. The other one in photo is hanging on. It's only been three days and the doctor says she has to be kept quiet in her pan for two weeks. I tried to call the Pet hospital and they are closed and even there chat line won't answer so I know you guys here would be able to help me. I guess I leave it. I honestly can't imagine a bandage staying on for two weeks. I'm getting a violation alert but hope it's not against the rules.

Elizabeth had surgery today, and my daughter hasn't left her side since she got home.

I went out to the sunroom to check on her, and I found my daughter had climbed into her pen and both of them were sound asleep.

Why is my rotating cutter cutting jagged?

I have changed the blade twice. They are new blades from SOMULUX 45 mm and I'm using an OLFA cutter.

My daughter's kindness

This gentleman lost his phone after he dropped it then accidentally kicked it straight under the shelves. My girl didn't hesitate to help him out.

Is this a vein or is she wearing a sleeve?

It's Madonna and I know she works out, but I was just wondering if this is a real vein? It just looks pretty odd. The size is consistent all the way down her arm.

The episode that frustrated me...

The Band Concert. After church the adults reminisce about the old days and that conversation suddenly becomes plans to have a band concert in the park. That evening. Everyone gets to work to make it a reality, but even as a kid I thought their plan was impossible -- why not plan it for the next Sunday? It still would have taken the same preparation. They merely set themselves up to fail.

Will a local Orting resident please advise?

My sister lives in Orting, but I live in Indiana and I want to send Amy flowers, but our local Florist does not send FTD. She suggested I call a shop in Orting and have them send the flowers out. But I can't find a shop in Orting when I google. Will somebody kindly give me the name of a trusted Florist in town? Thank you!

My LG dishwasher is only about 5 years old, and recently one of the digital lights burned out. Not a huge issue. I love that it's completely silent when washing, but I've always had a problem having to run 3 hours and 45 minutes for a load. Is that the norm now?

Hub suggested I order a new one-- this time I need something that will last 10 years-- suggestions please - i'll be shopping either Lowe's or Menards

We've got that flooring that everyone is putting down, but I hate that it's matte.

I wet mop about every day, so is there a product that can add shine BUT not make it slippery?

What is this from? It looks like sawdust.

We just noticed this sawdust on our window frame, but above it there is no sign of any boring insect. If we can't find where it's coming from how do we take care of the situation?

Dew claws

My pup's (F5mos) dew claws are getting caught in blankets and the carpet. One just dangles. They're useless and annoying to us all when we're trying to free her from a crocheted afghan. Can we have them removed? What does it cost, roughly?

I need help with putting in a decent hem.

I have turned over a quarter inch then an inch and I pinned the hem. But when I go to sew it, it's going to have a lot of slack at the end and it will be too much fabric. How do I alleviate this?

Ringside seats...

They do this every day, three or four rounds a day. Shorty, our tuxedo, is 14. Elizabeth, our Yorkie pup is 5 mos. Shorty loves the wrestling as much as the puppy, and instigates a round as often as Elizabeth does. No biting or clawing -- they respect the rules. ❤️

The thread catching is making me nuts. How do I avoid this?

The little factory slit they make in the plastic spool catches my thread when it's coming off the machine and I don't know how to avoid this. The spool has to be placed on the pin like this so that it the thread pools off to the front.
