25–30 Social Group for uncle s and aunty s here

Thinking of making a Telegram group for people aged 25–30 who are looking to meet new people, make friends, and occasionally get out of the usual work-life routine.

Nothing too serious or forced just a chill group where we can talk about life, work, relationships, random experiences, movies, games, travel, or literally whatever's on our minds. 😄

We can also plan movie nights, café hopping, dinners, weekend outings, game nights, and random meetups whenever enough people are interested.

The idea is simply to have a group of people around the same age who are actually interested in meeting and socialising, not just collecting people in a dead GC. 😂

If you're 25–30 and from/around Kolkata and this sounds like your kind of thing, comment or DM me and I'll share the Telegram link. 👀

RBL IndianOil Card – Promised XTRA, Got Normal RBL IOCL Mastercard Variant with ₹25K Limit. What Should I Do?

Guys, I recently applied for the RBL IndianOil Credit Card. During the call, I was told that I would be upgraded/offered the IndianOil XTRA Credit Card.

But today I received the normal IndianOil Credit Card instead. 😕

Also, I had specifically applied for the RuPay variant, but they sent me a Mastercard variant.

The biggest issue is the ₹25,000 credit limit, which is quite low for me.

I’m confused about what to do now. Should I:

  • Contact RBL and ask them to convert it to IndianOil XTRA?
  • Ask them to change it to the RuPay variant?
  • Request LTF (Lifetime Free) since I received a different card from what was promised?
  • Or simply cancel/reject the card and reapply later?

Has anyone faced a similar issue with RBL? Please suggest what would be the best course of action. 🙏

Dating feels weirdly complicated lately 😭

Is it just me, or does dating in feel like a completely different game depending on your age?

At 22–23, everyone seems to be hanging out, meeting people and casually dating. But once you hit 25–28, suddenly everyone is either married, preparing for marriage, buried in work, or saying “I’m not looking for anything serious right now.” 😂

And then there’s the specific problem — where do you even meet new people organically? Cafés, college, office, gym, dating apps… but somehow actually finding someone you genuinely click with feels difficult.

So genuinely curious:

How has dating been for you ?

  • Dating apps actually worked?
  • Met someone through friends/work?
  • Prefer approaching people FOR REAL?
  • Or have you completely given up and accepted your single era? 😭

And for the 25–30 crowd — do you think dating gets harder as you get older, or are we just overthinking it?

Anyone free on weekends?

Weekends have been getting way too boring lately 😭 Looking for people who are actually free on weekends and up for hanging out, grabbing food/coffee, exploring places, or just chilling and talking.

No particular agenda—just looking to meet some new people and make the weekends a little less boring.

If you're interested, drop a comment or DM. :

Is dating in Kolkata actually different, or am I imagining it?

Something I've noticed is that Kolkata seems to have a very different dating culture compared to other metros.

People can talk for hours, meet through mutuals, spend weeks texting, and still somehow never actually call it a date. 😭

There’s also this strange balance between traditional expectations and modern dating — especially when it comes to relationships, family, marriage, and who makes the first move.

For people who have dated in both Kolkata and another city, what difference did you notice?

What’s one very “Kolkata” thing about dating that outsiders probably wouldn’t understand?

26M | Kolkata — 0 DMs. 0 comments. Reddit has spoken. 😂

So I made a post

https://www.reddit.com/r/JodiMilan/s/OqPFiL5IcF here looking for someone to connect with.

I put effort into it.
I wrote about myself.
I added an icebreaker.
I even offered chai. ☕

Result: 0 DMs.

Absolutely devastating. 😂

So apparently my beautifully written “looking for my one and only” post had the romantic appeal of a GST notice.

Fair enough. Let's try this without the matrimonial-biodata energy.

I'm 26, from Kolkata, run my own business, introverted at first, and significantly more talkative once I'm comfortable.

I like train journeys, discovering random places, good food, chai, late-night conversations and people who can make me laugh without trying too hard.

I'm not looking to immediately label anything.

I'd rather meet someone, actually talk, see if we click, and let things happen naturally.

20–28, Kolkata / nearby.

And this time I'm making the entry requirement ridiculously easy:

Tell me your most controversial Kolkata food opinion.

I'll go first:

₹20 roadside chai > ₹300 café coffee.

Come fight me. ☕😂

26M | Kolkata | Looking for my one and only partner.....

If life were a train journey, I'd probably be the guy who offers you the window seat.

I'm 26, from Kolkata (about 166 cm), a Commerce graduate, and I run my own business. I earn enough to buy anything but not into luxury. Work keeps me busy, but I genuinely enjoy building something that belongs to me.

I'm an introvert by default. The first conversation might be a little awkward. By the fifth, you'll probably be wondering if I ever run out of things to say. (Spoiler: I don't.)

I have a simple formula for happiness:

🚆 A train ticket.
🍛 Good food.
☕ A cutting chai.

Everything else is a bonus.

I've probably travelled by train over a thousand times. I love the feeling of watching unknown stations pass by, buying chai from random vendors, and wondering about the stories of people I'll never meet again. There's something strangely comforting about journeys.

A few things about me:

• I reply ridiculously fast. Life's too short for "seen 8 hours ago."

• I'm the type who remembers the tiny details you casually mentioned three weeks ago.

• My love language is hugs, quality time, and making ordinary days feel special.

• I'm obsessed with astrology—not because I think it controls life, but because I find people fascinating.

• I believe relationships shouldn't feel like interviews or games. They should feel like coming home after a long day.

I'm not looking for perfection.

I'm looking for someone between 20 and 28 who's kind, emotionally mature, communicates honestly, and wants to build something real instead of chasing the next "better option."

If your idea of a great date is getting lost in a new city, arguing over where to eat, laughing at absolutely nothing, and ending the evening with chai instead of showing off at some expensive restaurant, we'll probably get along.

One day, I'd love for us to look back and laugh that our story started because one of us randomly decided to message the other on Reddit.

So here's an easy icebreaker:

What's one place that changed you after you visited it?

Or, if that's too deep...

Chai or coffee? (Choose wisely.) ☕🙂

How does Saturn actually manifest in your life? 🪐

I’ve been studying Vedic astrology and noticed that Saturn seems to work very differently for everyone. For some people it brings delays and responsibilities, while for others it seems to completely restructure their career, relationships, or finances.

https://preview.redd.it/p5zffuh6d4hh1.png?width=554&format=png&auto=webp&s=3a4b5cdad09a178619158cf127dad23fb080c77d

For those with a strong Saturn, Saturn Mahadasha, or important Saturn transits, what has your real-life experience been? Did Saturn actually delay things for you, or did it ultimately give you something more stable and long-lasting?

Would love to hear your Saturn sign + house and the age/period when you noticed its effects.

26M | Kolkata | Looking for my favorite person to share chai, train jouney, and life with. ☕

I have absolutely no idea if Reddit is the best place to find someone... but I guess every good story starts somewhere. 😄

A little about me:

I'm 26, from Kolkata166 cm(i do not know in feet), a Commerce graduate, and I run my own business. I enjoy what I do because it gives me the freedom to build something of my own, even if it keeps me busy.

Personality-wise, I'm definitely an introvert... at least for the first few conversations. Once I'm comfortable, though, you'll probably wonder if I ever stop talking. 😅

Outside work, my personality can be summed up in three words: eat, sleep, travel. Give me good food, a train ticket, and a cup of chai, and I'm already happy.

A few random facts about me:

🚆 I've probably travelled by train 1,000+ times—railway stations almost feel like a second home.

☕ Tea > Coffee. A good cup of chai can fix almost any bad day.

🤗 My love language is hugs and quality time. I'm a big believer that the smallest moments together often become the best memories.

💬 I'm a ridiculously fast replier. I don't believe in pretending to be busy or playing texting games.

✨ I'm genuinely interested in astrology. Whether you believe in it or not, I find it fascinating and love learning about it.

Who I'm hoping to meet

Someone between 20 and 28 who's kind, emotionally mature, and looking for something real—not perfect, just genuine.

Someone who enjoys laughing over the smallest things, values honesty, communicates openly, and wants a relationship where both people feel safe, respected, and excited to grow together.

If you love travelling, enjoy trying new food, or think a simple chai date can be better than an expensive dinner, we'll probably get along.

If you've made it this far, thank you. 😊

Send me a message with your favorite place you've ever visited—or tell me whether you're on Team Chai or somehow still choosing coffee.

Who knows? Maybe this random Reddit post becomes our favorite story to tell one day.

Have You Ever Ignored an Astrologer's Advice and Regretted It?

I'm curious to hear real-life experiences.

Have you ever been given an astrological prediction or warning that you chose to ignore—only to realize later that it was surprisingly accurate?

It could be about:

  • ❤️ Love or relationships
  • 💼 Career or business
  • 💰 Money or investments
  • ✈️ Travel or relocation
  • 🩺 Health
  • 💍 Marriage
  • 📚 Education

What was the advice, why did you ignore it, and what happened afterward?

On the other hand, if you've ignored an astrologer and nothing bad happened, I'd love to hear that too. Real experiences from both sides make for the most interesting discussion.

Please avoid sharing personal information you're not comfortable with, and let's keep the conversation respectful.

Tired of generic astrology posts?

Have you noticed there's a subreddit for almost every astrology niche except one that's focused only on Vedic birth chart discussions?

Most astrology communities mix memes, daily horoscopes, Western astrology, and chart readings all together. Sometimes it's hard to find thoughtful Vedic chart analysis.

So I decided to create r/VedicBirthChart—a place where people can:

  • Share birth charts
  • Ask questions without judgment
  • Learn Vedic astrology
  • Help others interpret charts
  • Discuss yogas, dashas, marriage, career, and timing

If that's something you've been looking for, you're welcome to join. And if not, what's one feature you'd want in a Vedic astrology community?
