Cubase automation is writing automatically rails for every new parameter

Hello.

I have automated several parameters in Retrologue 2. Now, every time I select and move another parameter, Cubase writes another automation rail for the new selected parameter, but I want it to read and write an automation rail for the previous ones, only.

How can I disable this?

Thank you.

What integrated LUFS level would you recommend for this audio?

Hello!

I'm mixing a piece of classical music, and after mixing and mastering, I've achieved an average of -16.1 integrated LUFS across the entire piece (it only reaches -14.9 integrated LUFS for a brief moment during the loudest section).

I checked the potential penalty for this LUFS level on a well-known website, and all the levels showed 0.0 (only one platform added approximately +0.7).

I know it’s hard to answer without hearing it, but: Do you think this is a good level to achieve a decent volume without sacrificing the performers’ dynamics, or would it sound too quiet? From what I understand, this level is reasonable for this genre, but I’d like to hear your opinion. I listened to the piece, and it sounds good to me.

Thank you very much!

Hello!

I'm mixing a classical music piece, and after mixing and mastering, I've ended up with an average of -16.1 integrated LUFS across the entire piece (it is around -14.9 integrated LUFS only for a moment in the loudest excerpt).

I checked the potential penalty for this LUFS level on a well-known website, and all the levels showed 0.0 (only one platform would add about +0.7).

I know it's hard to answer if you don't listen to it, but: do you think this is a good level to aim for to achieve a good volume without sacrificing the performers’ dynamics, or would it end up sounding too quiet? As far as I understand, this level is reasonable for this genre, but I’d like to hear your opinion. I listened to the piece and it sounds good to me.

Thank you very much!

How can I do this?

¡Hola!

How can I undo this?

Hello!

I was working in a mix and every audio clip was selected. It seems like I accidentally pressed the "Q" key and now everything was quantized (and out of tempo).

How can I undo this? Pressing "undo" will not work, because the project was saved and was closed after having pressed that key.

Thank you!

¿Cómo puedo hacer esto con Melodyne?

¡Hola!

Muchas gracias. ¡Os leo!

Is this a good idea?

Hello!

I can't record some vocals that I have to sing because I can't make any loud noises right now, so I thought that maybe I could record my voice in a car.

Is this a good idea? Or is there any other better alternative?

(If it is a good idea, is there any way I can charge my laptop in the car?)

Thank you! I read you all!

Why is this happening?

Hello!

I'm mixing a song, and I used sidechain in the bass channel like this: Insert 1 - Frequency2 (Sidechain from the kick to duck lower frequencies in the bass), Insert 2 - Multiband Compressor (Sidechain from the kick to duck lower frequencies in the bass).

I want to do the same with a group channel from the synths to duck when the kick sounds. I used the first insert 1 correctly, but when I want to select my kick channel to sidechain Insert 2 - Multiband Compressor in this group channel, it just doesn't show up.

Why is this happening? Thank you.

Musescore sound bank has changed. Any help?

Hello!

I am currently working in a project where I have an instrument called "Bass synth" ("Sintetizador bajo", in spanish). It sounded one way before updating to MuseScore Studio 4.7, but after updating, the sound bank has changed.

How can I preserve the older sound bank with the newer MuseScore Studio version? This sound is important, because changing it can result in having a sound that doesn't fit the composition correctly.

Thank you all!

How can I do this?

Hello!

I am mixing an electronic music song and I was wondering how can I sidechain Kick and Snare to sound over the other instruments in the mix.

I thought that I could create a Channel bus for all the instruments of the mix (leaving Kick and Snare out of it) sidechain two Frequency (EQ) inserts (1: Kick, 2: Snare) with dynamic EQ, so always that Kick and Snare make a hit the desired frequency range comes down only when they sound.

Is this the correct way to do this or there is some better ways to achieve it?

I read you all!
