What do you think of these?

Picked them up at lunch break! Are they good? My dollar tree doesn't have much. Picked up a nice lip liner too and blemish patches:)

30 and feel like I'm completely behind in life. Any advice?

I'm 30 (female) and feel like I'm having a quarter-life crisis... or just a life crisis.

I've dealt with anxiety and depression for as long as I can remember, and I'm also neurodivergent. I have a bachelor's degree in Political Science, but I haven't been able to build a stable career. I've struggled to keep jobs for more than 6 or 7 months. I'm currently working as a receptionist and just hit the 6 month mark, so I'm really hoping this one lasts.

I still live with my mom because I can't afford to move out. I'm trying to save money, but it feels like it's never enough. I also still don't have my driver's license, only my permit, and I know getting my license would give me a lot more independence. It's something I'm actively working on, but I still feel embarrassed about it.

I've been trying to improve myself by taking certifications and learning new skills, but sometimes it feels like opportunities come down to who you know. What I'd really love is a creative career in social media management, branding, or graphic design. I also run a meme page and genuinely enjoy creating content, but breaking into that field has been difficult.

I'm in a long-distance relationship, and we're both financially struggling, so the future feels uncertain. I also don't have much of a social life anymore. Over the past couple of years, I've become pretty isolated.

I live in NYC (outside Manhattan), but I'd eventually love to live somewhere quieter, more affordable, with nature and a slower pace of life.

Has anyone else been in a similar position at 30 and managed to turn things around? If you were in my shoes, what would you focus on first? I'd really appreciate any advice or success stories because I don't want to wake up five years from now and still be in the same place.

30 and feel like I'm completely behind in life. Any advice?

I'm 30 (female) and I feel like I'm having a quarter-life crisis... or maybe just a life crisis.

I've dealt with anxiety and depression for as long as I can remember, and I'm also neurodivergent. Some days I manage well, and other days it feels like everything is ten times harder than it should be. I keep wondering if I'm behind in life or if I'm just taking a different path, but it's hard not to compare myself to everyone else.

I have a bachelor's degree in Political Science, but I haven't really been able to build a stable career from it. I still live with my mom because I can't afford to move out. I'm trying to save money, but it feels like no matter how much I save, it isn't enough. I'm currently working as a receptionist, and I've struggled to keep jobs for longer than 6 or 7 months. I'm at the 6 month mark at my current job and I'm really hoping things work out this time.

One thing I'm genuinely embarrassed about is that I still don't have my driver's license. I do have my permit, so it's not like I haven't started, but I know getting my license would open up more opportunities and give me more independence. I just feel ashamed that I'm 30 and still haven't done it.

I've been trying to improve myself. I've taken certifications, tried learning new skills, and I'm constantly looking for ways to make myself more employable. Sometimes it feels like getting a good opportunity is more about who you know than what you know.

What I'd really love is a creative career. I enjoy social media management, graphic design, branding, and creating logos. I also run a meme page, so I've had some experience creating content and building an audience, and I genuinely enjoy that kind of work. It's one of the few things that doesn't feel like a chore to me. Breaking into a creative field, though, feels incredibly difficult.

I'm also in a long-distance relationship. My boyfriend is financially struggling too, so neither of us is really in a position to build a future together right now. That adds another layer of uncertainty.

On top of all that, I worry a lot about the future and the state of the world. Everything feels so expensive and unstable. I live in NYC (outside Manhattan), but my dream would be to eventually live somewhere quieter, more affordable, surrounded by nature, with a slower pace of life. I'm a pretty introverted person, and that kind of environment feels much more like me.

Another thing that's been bothering me is that I don't really have much of a social life anymore. Over the past two years, I've become pretty isolated. Between work, stress, and trying to figure my life out, friendships have kind of faded away.

I know one of the biggest things I need to do is get my driver's license. I know it would help with independence, job opportunities, and confidence. I'm working on it, but I still feel ashamed that I haven't crossed that milestone yet.

I guess I'm just wondering if anyone else has been in a similar position at 30 and eventually turned things around. Did you feel like you were behind? What steps made the biggest difference? If you were in my shoes, what would you focus on first?

I'd really appreciate any advice, success stories, or even some tough love. I just don't want to wake up in five years and realize I'm still in the exact same place.

Three lone crow sightings in about a week. Curious about the symbolism.

I’m curious if anyone here has any thoughts on repeated crow sightings.
Last week, I saw a lone crow on two separate days. They were different crows in different locations, but both sightings happened around the same time of day. Then about a week later, I saw another lone crow by itself, again around that same time. I took a couple of photos of this last one.
I know it could be a coincidence, but it caught my attention because I don’t usually notice crows or see them this often.
I’ve read interpretations that lone crows can symbolize transformation, a message, heightened awareness, or the beginning or end of a chapter in life. At the same time, I know it could simply be pattern recognition on my part.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? If so, did it end up having any personal significance, or do you think these kinds of sightings are usually just coincidences?

Why does everyone glide on their skin while micro needling?

I watched a few videos, that say the stamping technique is better than gliding across your skin. It doesn't risk tearing skin and pores.
So, why does everyone glide? I guess it's because of social media but logically it makes sense that stamping is better. More gentle on skin.

Any advice is appreciated. What should I do? Am I right to ask for refund of jewelry?!

Looking for honest opinions from experienced piercers.
I got a navel piercing and have had ongoing issues throughout the healing process. I reached out to the studio on two separate occasions for advice when I was concerned about how it was healing, and I also sought opinions from a few other piercers.
I’m now dealing with visible scarring, and the jewelry appears to be too short and is putting pressure on the piercing. What frustrates me most is that I was never told I might not have the anatomy for a traditional navel piercing. Had I known that beforehand, I likely wouldn’t have gotten it done.
At this point I’ve requested a refund for the jewelry and piercing-related costs because I’ve spent time and money trying to resolve this and am left with scarring.
Based on the photos, does it look like the piercing was done appropriately? Does it seem reasonable to ask for a refund in this situation?
Is it possible for the scarring to disappear once removed?:(((((
Should I try pushing it?!

For reference we changed jewelry because my piercing was forming a keloid but even this floating piercing wasn't right.. i think i needed a longer one..

Any feedback is appreciated.

The left photo is when i first got it pierced two years ago.

Should I throw them?

Is it OK to use Pine Bottle and Lipo Lab after leaving them out at room temperature for a month?

They were mixed but never used/punctured after reconstitution. They stayed in a cool dark room and still look completely clear with no particles or cloudiness.

Can I still use them or should I toss them?

What can help with short term memory loss? peptide or not

My memory has been so bad and I feel like its been getting worse. I am on lamotrogine for depression & anxiety and I started in 2023 and haven't been able to get off when I do my energy is so low and I start to overthink. A side effect I noticed from being on lamotrogine is a lot of brain fog and memory loss its concerning. Things like forgetting stuff on the stove.. forgetting keys outside my door. Its bad. Forgetting the name of a movie I watched with my bf. I hate it, makes me feel like im losing my mind. Im only 29! I hate that im forgetting important stuff. I want to get off lamogtrogine (lamictal) and I cant seem to be able to without it effecting my work life etc. Is there a way to reverse my short term memory issues? a peptide or anything? Ive tried some supplements havent been effective. I dont know what to do 😞would appreciate any help.
