Has anyone installed these LMC bucket seats in their El Camino? Just wondering if they fit & what modifications were made to make them fit?

I only bought one $20 ticket. Awesome! 💵

This was on a recent episode of GMG (actually a rerun) but it’s a really cool looking El Camino. Some were commenting that it’s a rare one because it’s a 3 tone, big block. Some were arguing about the 400 badging on it because GM didn’t have a 402 badge & that a 396 is a 402 cu inch. 🤷🏻‍♂️ People will argue about anything nowadays.

I’m thinking my real main oil seal is leaking on my 2006 Silverado 5.3L, 4L60. It’s got 175,000 miles & is it possible that it could blow out while driving it? Because I know of older vehicles that had the rope seal or the 2 piece seal (like on my 66 El Camino) can get worse. I’ve gotten quotes from shops to repair it and it’s just annoying that I’m going to have to pay $1200 just to fix a leak. It runs fine with no other issues. I’m also aware of the gasket around the rear plate; besides the rear main seal; will also leak on these LS engines.

Just something on my mind about the iconic NB 623’s that have been discontinued. Not to be beating a dead horse about them but I have been buying & wearing the 623’s since the early 90’s. Because I’m disabled I have to be very selective when buying shoes & the 623’s have always been good to my feet. I recently tried the expensive 993’s and the 608’s and they just were not the same to me. I tried the 608’s because some people suggested that those were the replacements for the 623’s, idk about that but they are not anywhere close to the 623’s. And the $200 pair of 993’s were nice but they were way too tight for my feet & I even got them in a 4E size. And unfortunately I had to send those shoes back. So bottom line, big middle finger to you NB for getting rid of a shoe that I can only wear & a big kudos to eBay for giving us a place to purchase items that are no longer available from the manufacturers. 👍🏻 I’ll get down off of my soap box now. 😝
