Stress feels Pointless?

I am casually playing with a colony, and i never needed any de-stress building. Doesnt matter if Dupe slept on a ground, peed pants, suffocated, got shot or was slain, Stress was literally never any Issue.

At least make some benefit for having stressed Dupes, like increased movement speed or faster bladded filling when stress is higher, so you might actually want to have stressed Dupes if you want to generate water or you need that Dupe to move a lot.

Wouldnt happiness be more interesting than stress? Or at least add that mechanic to mirror stress. Every activity that would reduce stress would raise happiness, and for every lets say 20%, Dupe would get some temporary bonuses. +1 to all stats, faster utility usage, less oxygen consumption, etc. It would make those building more interesting and usefull and it could add more depth to the game, where you would choose how happy/stressed you want the Dupes.

What do you think about that?

Also, can the popup for Long Commutes be removed? What is it for anyway?

Heroes 5 is the Best rated Heroes on Steam

Base H5 and Hammers of fate would be #2 and #3, but i decided to just put them into one game.

I played H6 long time ago and never played H7. Are they really not that good?

Balance changes are not for YOU. They are for new players. Stop crying about them.

Every single game should try to give the best possible experience to its players. And surprise, most people who will ever play G1R havent played it yet. The game is out only for few weeks, so fixing most things as fast as possible is the best possible way to make it better in long term.

The amount of crybabies that minmax/rush/exploit the game in CH1 and then complain about those things being patched is ridiculous. You may have ruined Your experience with the game, but dont push your exploiting playstyle on other people, especially people who havent played the game.

Weak items should be buffed, strong items should be nerfed, easy to find items should be balanced by how fast you can find them. Its not rocket science.

And if tryhards will complain that the way you can break the game in 30 minutes is fixed, good. It means that the devs are doing great job at preventing the game getting stale quick for most new players.

Can the next HoMaM game be set after Heroes 5?

As far i found out, there are two stories in HoMaM universe.

Heroes 1-4

Heroes 5-7 (6,7,5 chronologically)

Heroes 5 ends with Dark Messiah, where you can choose the ending. There was a game called Heroes Kingdoms, that was pernamently shut down. And by any standards, game that is officially unplayable, should not count as canon.

Which is interesting, because the next game after Heroes 5 could go in any direction, because the story is right now undecided, because the last canonical, playable game ends on player decision.

Bonus question: is Olden era technically Heroes 8? Does that mean that if this theoretical Heroes 9 game i was talking about released, the chronological way to play Heroes games is: 8,1,2,3,4,6,7,5,9?
