Does the warranty cover buck knives bought second hand?

I bought a used 503 and only noticed later that the tip of the knife is exposed while folded. It's just barely poking out, but I can feel my finger nail catching on the tip of the blade and I'm concerned about it being a safety issue.

Honestly, it would only need a little bit of filing on the kick to fix it, so I'm not sure it's worth paying to mail it in and having to pay for a blade replacement. Would they even do anything for one I bought second hand? What do you all think?

My first Rough Ryder

I really like the scales on this Rough Ryder, so I decided to grab it. It's got some gapping but the blades feel pretty solid and don't wiggle. For 20 bucks, I'm pretty happy with it.

I just got this melon tester from wild boar for $30. It's a bit pricey for what is essentially a letter opener, but I think it's pretty cool and I haven't seen many melon testers with scales like this so I had to get it.

I just got this melon tester from wild boar. I've been fascinated by melon tester knives lately, and I haven't seen many that have scales like this one so I had to get it. It was $30 which is a bit much for what is essentially a letter opener, but I think it's pretty cool.
