Everyone is talking about what they want the next DC fighting game to be, but I feel like I’m in the minority for just wanting something simple.

I don’t want any multiverse bullshit, no crazy strong villains, no evil superheroes, no connections to the DCU. Hell, I don’t even want any guest characters, but I know it’s going to happen anyway.

I just want the regular version of our superheroes and villains fighting against each other. Maybe have the Legion of Doom as this game’s villains. But to be honest I’ll take anything at this point. I just want another DC fighting game.

I am so tired of people questioning the gallery cards because it teases a character they don’t want. Like yeah, Cyclops’ shades are a hint at him being next, but not the big red ass dinosaur plushie right above it. People did the same thing this season with Black Cat and White Fox, and with Elsa last season. The hints are very much in your face.

There’s been a lot of commotion about Dagger’s bubble, which now does burst healing on impact. A lot of people (mostly dive) don’t like it because it adds to C&D’s survivability, but I think it’s helpful with how high the damage is in this game. Plus, they’ve been complaining about her bubble since S1. They really just don’t want it to heal her at all.

I’ll also say this, poke is a heavy counter to C&D. It negates almost everything in their kit. C&D is a dive counter. They have auto-lock, and many survivability tools. Notice Wanda also counters dive. As crazy as it may sound, not everything is black and white, and not every dive is going to counter every healer just like Wolverine isn’t going to counter every tank.

I fully believe that this game can be named Injustice without taking place in the Injustice Universe. Almost everyone there is dead and Superman is irredeemable. I just want to be done with it.
