The ecclesial journey I have partaken in for the past nine months has resulted in me looking seriously into the LCMS. I hold to sola fide, pedobaptism, real presence, and I’m pretty skeptical of both the papacy and modern evangelicalism. The usual stuff.

That said, I don’t want to become Lutheran just because it’s the tradition I happen to like the most right now. Im pretty sure its correct. However, I want to know your points of contention with the Lutheran tradition.

So my question is: why should I NOT become LCMS? What are the strongest arguments for Anglicanism, Reformed theology, Catholicism, Orthodoxy, etc., over Lutheranism?

I’m looking for the best case against Lutheranism from people who have seriously studied these issues. If Lutheranism is true, it should be able to survive its strongest objections. If it isn’t, I’d rather find that out now than after I’m catechized.
What do you think are the biggest weaknesses in the Lutheran position?

I have a crossbody bag with like 4 pockets. Site only says you can have 1 pocket. Will they take it from me u think?

Amidst all of the faction outrage, I do have one hope for the operators in Multiplayer. I just hope they are like MW2019.

MW2019 had something special with their selection of operators. This could be a nostalgia bias on my part, but the operators in MW2019 actually felt like real people. Everything from their individual factions (warcom, spetznaz) down to their voice acting, outfits, everything. It had a kind of premium feel to it, one that was omitted from almost every COD title after the fact (save for Cold War). I even remember a feature in Spec Ops in which if you and your teammate would equip the right two operators, they would LITERALLY have a conversation with each other, in game. The level of care and detail is astounding and I want it to return, not boring masked operator with a codename #10000.

Krueger, Yegor, Minotaur, how can you look at these characters and not mutter “hell yeah” to yourself? I wouldn’t even care if they returned all of them in MW4.
