So i used chat gpt to look up links to unity assets i can legally buy for my unity vrchat avatar project im making shared 2 of the links in the server asking which asset looks better and which to buy. (So giving money to actual artists not using AI)

Then, someone cropped the link where it says chat gpt and called me out for using ai in general chat publicly and said im on my own there.

So, essentially, im not worth talking to or helping because i used the free version of Chat gpt to look for a link? Im no better than companies that mass use ai and build ai data centers or mine crypto ? I didn't know that sharing a chat gpt domain would paint me as the servers' punching bag, and I'd be painted as the person making artists lose jobs.

I mean, I've been paying people to make skyrim mods for years even though they publish them for free, so this really hurt.

I left after that to think an lgbt focused server about acceptance designed to be a safe space would be so black and white political... i was just there because my friend is, but now, just looking at the server icon makes me salty.

And then i go to reddit to try and vent over this (i guess my mistake), and the first comment i got for posting this somwhere else calls me a baby a lier and that im to lazy to do the hard work myself and just use AI okay thanks just paint me as something again.

How is it even different from googeling something

I read this sub and the banned from discord sub a lot, and if even 20% of the things claimed is true, then its only a matter of time before my nitro opal account gets flagged with some bs.

With people infractions going years back and my very heavy use of discord being in 100+ servers, some allowing nsfw.

I have lewd humor, so i make dumb jokes a lot, of course in communities where people dont mind, and it's encouraged but looking at what people get banned for its probably just a question of when i get banned just takes a guy to report me or a server where a woman with petite chest gets posted and im gone.

On discord since 2017 nitro since 6 years i used to love this platform now im paranoid sad and bitter....

So far, my account has no warning, but what does that really mean when some get insta banned and some need 8 restrictions first.

I made an alt on separate ip, but would you even keep going when you lose 6 years of nitro?

So most of you probably know that a few countries have had adult games hidden from the store, and the whole thing was riddled with drama. Some blaming steam some blaming visa and other payment companies and/or the government of said country.

But there hasn't been any news of them trying to find a solution for this thus far, and its been years. Many people pirate or ask friends to gift them games and buy keys. im just frustrated that i, as an adult, can not legeally purchase stuff or even see what i can not purchase, yet i can buy gore games.

The whole point of making some adut sites legal and free is to keep people off weird sites, so why is it that a moderated steam store is not good enough?

Surely there is money to be made is steam not intetested or are their hands compleyely tied?

A lot of people get banned on discord for no reason and then unbanned because of a broken system in my case i wasnt banned from discord i was banned from a 400k member server that subsequently bans you on all their partner servers aswell so i think about 15 in total.

What did i do? Im not sure i opend 4 tickets to report scammers which got banned by the mods i didnt even chat in the server and they banned me. Reason given: malicious activity? So i contacted a mod which then said they are not allowed to tell me and i need to submit a ticket on the vrchat website a week later im unbanned with no reason given even though i spezifically asked for it.

Im mod in 4 discords myself so this left me baffled i asked the mod again after unban and they just told me i was manually reported and then banned and they wont let me know more. Needles to say i lost all drive to chat and interact with people from that discord/entire community. Why would you ban me without telling me why and if it was a mistake just tell me and apologize?

I assume people that get banned on discord feel simmular but at least in their case it wasnt humans.

I got banned from a 400k user server and its affiliate server without a clue why, and the mods say they are not allowed to tell me.

I can´t even appeal for the smaller server...

Im in about 80 discords since those 2 are the only ones i got banned in, and i didn't click any links or downliaded stuff. It's safe to say my account isn't compromised ive obviusly read the rules, and i haven't even chatted in it. All i did so far is report 4 scammers via tickets that got banned

What's your plan for trying to snipe a steam frame?

Just have your money sitting in paypal and press buy fast? I assume they announce it and open purchases a few days after and fastest buyer wins, or is it confirmed its lottery/que? Historically, they released hardware at 7pm CET. Do i just sit there waiting then?

My hopeful guess is announcement in 6 days and 1100- 1600 euro price, but idk. The dongle is something people forget about, which a lot of people would buy sepperatly anyways same as diffrent visors or strap because the original ones suck like in the quest.. i dont think it will be under 1100€

I'll try and keep this question short while giving only the needed context.

Im scared to use a cable for my quest 3 using the phone is not an option for me neither is using the house router we use for internet because it's 2 floors down and like 3 rooms away and its a german old concrete house there usnt even cable internet in the upper 2 floors so its using like 5 repeaters. Also, im using a pie hole, and im too stupid to know if that can cause issues ( the router is old, too)

So the only option im left with is buying a 50 bucks 5g router for same room 5g connection and making a tunnel with it to the goggles i guess if i wasn't already using wifi so my ethernet socket is free one would have to buy pci-e card for it.

i banned about 50 phishing accounts this month they had most of these things in common

• some of them had the FANG tag never seen a legit user having it,
• a similar bio, built around dating or NSFW content
• a similar naming pattern (first name last name or a name and then numbers),
• and a similar profile picture style (TikTok or celebrity girl or girl posing),

and I'm wondering why they have the fang tag and if i should ban for using it, it appears to be a fishy discord at least. There has to be a reason the bots are using this.

i have set up a bot to auto kick for account age and specific scanned profile pictures and names since i could also let it scan the tag ,so far its kicking them nicely but it sometimes flags legit users

Edit: i should add they all joined threw the "community one discord growing bot" and im using "Antiscambot" to get rid of them

I see posts here every day with people saying they got banned for being in a discord. I joined a somewhat shady one i think about 1 or 2 years ago simply out of curiosity and left it about a day after. Im honestly a bit scared that AI randomly bans me. My entire life is on Discord, and im mod in 4 servers where i handle tickets every day. I'd appreciate it if someone would confirm if it can or can't happen. Dont remember the name of the shady server, but remember that being quite a few gore pictures, which is against TOS.

Hey, im an absolute casual player and just played my first events at level 56. i just saw that there are 2 event cats im interested in. I like the 850csi bmw and the 300sx even though i dont know what's special about the sx. How hard is it to get those as casual? I finished my first 3 events at rank 25, 170, and 100 and got assinged bronze. I have a drift car for every class but no low tier grip car yet.

Edit: i have now leated that there is no real difference between normal and event cars. The event ones just have a few upgrade parts equipped. So there is no actual need to get event cars from what i understand.

Could you please send me scams used in discord servers? (Not the ones sent via dm the ones that get posted in public servers general chat for example excluding discord invites aswell) i need it to help improve the antiscam bot project im helping with as well as to learn for myself how to identify them better to keep myself and others safe
