So October marks 14 years of Adrift and I guess 10 years in their current location. They sold some sort of special box for $150 and you got a $50 gift card, 2 Adrift anniversary mai tai glasses, 2 adrift swizzle sticks, an adrift t shirt, adrift stickers and 2 party passes which guaranteed RSVP for their Nightmare In Paradise and Snowdrift parties, first choice seating, complimentary mystery shot and the first round free.(assume these latter were at the parties) Can;t believe I didn't grab one of these. Seems like a lava-hot deal!

Did anyone happen to buy one?

Also right when I got off work today, they sent a text that the first 20 people in starting at 5p would get one of these anniversary mai tai glasses so I hopped over! 2nd in line. Very nice addition to my glasses and mugs collection.

Would love to have had the full band sign but to have Nick and Jay is really the biggest thing. Hard to see with the gold ink but happy to have in collection! Thinking about a Frankenstein situation where I put my levitation edition inside the sign of sleeve

After what has been possibly the most excruciating couple of months trying to buy tickets We are finally a go for Denver tomorrow.

First, the shit sold out in .001 seconds. Then we found out Colorado is exempt from the Face Value Resale thing, or so I thought (maybe lots of others?) However about 6 weeks ago, I noticed that tickets were popping up there. Very difficult to catch. I researched and found a bot that would alert me when the resale tickets became available. Every time I have clicked the alert as soon as I've received it and the tickets are "no longer available" It's be probably 75-100 times now. I've even had the tickets in my cart and tried to pay and the same thing has happened. I'm convinced it's a scam. I'm a long time user and advocate for CashOrTrade.org and even there, such a limited inventory and often only singles (trying to take a best friend who NEEDS a TI live experience) I've been very hesitant to go third-party/resale but had to keep watching there. Finally, I saw some seats tonight that I thought was a good value (about $85 over face) so I just fucking did it. It was via the GameTime site and I was nervous (btw Price wise: Stubhub>SeatGeek>Gametime in my recent several months experience - not only with Tame Impala) Anyway, I pulled the trigger, got $20 off for my first purchase and about 90 minutes later, I have the live barcode tickets. Now I will not fully celebrate until we are through the door but FUCK this has been a journey. I'm so pissed how hard they have made it for us to have 2 fucking hours of joy with one of our favorite acts. Bonus is that one of my best friends who I have known for more years than a lot of you have been a live wanted to go and she's so excited. I can't wait to share the night with her and with all of you. For those without tickets, stick to your guns, buy what you can afford and don't give up hope.

I’ve waited forever to properly get this framed but it’s always been so pricey so I’ve waited. I’m sick of all my great show posters sitting in a flat file so I just decided - at least for now - to just buy cheap basic frames I can enjoy them. This show was so epic for me. One year after I’d moved back to Denver from SF. Some of the first major concerts taking place after the pandemic. We had incredible seats, got to go with my kid sis, and the vibes were immaculate. Even though it’s slightly janky, I’m so happy to have it in a frame and I’ll hang it this week.

I’ve been collecting vinyl since probably 2012 or 2013 and I buy Records that I love and for listening to/ using regularly. I have about 425 albums now and I’m not into collecting for the potential appreciation in value. With these Confessions II variants, for the first time I have bought multiples with this TikTok version being the last and final one unless I ever find a decent deal on the pride edition. I have the deluxe two disc, premium packaging, the red vinyl with Sabrina and Madonna 7 inch, the Grindr picture disc, and now this TikTok edition. I want to see it so badly, but I also for the first time ever feel like I don’t wanna open it. What should I do? It would literally be opening it just to see it because I can play the other versions regularly lol dilemma!

Not sure if it’s the same at every show but red rocks we had butterflies. Some orange with the HD logo, others pink that said I love you and thin white paper ones all mixed together. Nice little memento to pick up on the way out.

Looks like LH is selling off a whole bunch of musical equipment and more unique memorabilia from their recording studios.sessions. Store opens July 29. I’m curious to see what other items besides equipment will be in there.
