I’m currently looking to work remotely because I would like to make a change in my personal life and I’d like some opinions from other people who work remote. My professional experience is all service industry and my customer service experience is strong as well as conflict resolution and de-escalation. I have been a dealer technician for most of my career (10 years). I tried car sales for 4 months but I’m not a good liar and I think having the knowledge of the product intimidated people as stupid as that sounds. I was a tow truck operator for 5 years and this is where I get a lot of my customer service skillset since half the time you have the phone and do all the work. I’ve always showed up on time with a smile and do my best to help make peoples day and shine some light in a tough situation because who really wants to have to call me at any time of day or night. I’ve always been incredibly thorough in all of my paperwork, writing and digital organization have been my strongsuit compared to the majority of people I’ve worked beside even though it’s looked over by most of management. The current shop I’m working for we greet, sell and do the repairs on the vehicle so I’m a technician, parts, and service writer which isn’t hard but it doesn’t come with any extra pay. I’ve attempted to become a service advisor by applying to 30 different positions and only had 1 interview and no call back. It’s a bit frustrating because in the automotive world it seems like if you’re knowledgeable you can only be a technician making less than 70k annually. Anyways in my free time I enjoy repairing and modding game consoles and computers. I have a wide variety of capablility but I’ll look on indeed for remote work and see jobs that I just don’t know if I can do. Maybe it’s self doubt but from others who have remote experience what should I look for that is remote with what I know how to do?

Have a slim 2501a that had CFW on it and upgraded the storage from 512gb to 1tb and in safe mode it wouldn’t allow me to install OFW on it lower than 4.93. With attempts to install 4.92 it wouldn’t succeed. Left with 4.93 thinking I would be able to revert to a lower firmware to allow bgtoolset do it thing I can’t get past my console not recognizing a lower FW. What the hell do? I dont really want to be stuck with a 512gb drive just to have CFW

Been playing since launch and this game deserves so much more love. I’m not a sweat anymore but it’s been an enjoyable experience the entire time it. Everyone plays their part 80% of the matches I load into it genuinely reminds me of the BF4 days. That being said I wasted $40 on BF6 today and it’s nothing but a camp fest and a small percentage of those who get through the line of snipers/campers/mouth breathers, actually play the objective while everyone thinks conquest is team deathmatch. I’ll be playing BF2042 until they pull the plug.

Looking to sell two of my consoles and want it priced fairly. I have a CECHG with a 512gb SSD, CFW installed and has been delid with mx6 on die and IHS. 96 days runtime. Has ran great for the year I had it, temps are at 65° at 40% fan speed with TLOU. I have polished the case to a mirror like finish it looks great. The other is a 2501A slim with CFW and a 256 gb SSD and 212 days runtime. No issues and runs flawless. Both have cords and 2 aftermarket controllers since I’m keeping my OEM for myself. What should I ask?

I don’t yet have either but I’ve been very interested in these games but I mainly just want to play with my kid vs bots like we’ve been doing with Rainbow Six Vegas 1/2 and Wildlands. I know there isn’t a dedicated campaign like those two games I listed but they want a more close quarters action game to play with me. My question is do either of these games offer a PvE experience where my kid and I can make or join a custom game that’s just us and bots vs other bots? I guess similar to the portal PvE aspect of BF2042. Is this doable on these games or should I look into Ready or Not?
