How does buyer pay for shipping work?

So someone just bought my item and it says they gave me money for the shipping.

But my question is that it says I’ll pay with my funds. But my eBay balance is empty. So will it charge my card or will it deduct it from my sold earnings when I get them?

What's wrong with my 808? Why does it sound off over this sample

So I found this sample on YouTube and took some parts I liked and stretched them out over like 8 bars and added some effects like reverb and heavy EQ. Then I tried to put an 808 over it, and no matter what 808 I used, it sounded wrong.

The sample mode I used on my track was set to E3 generic, so I thought it would stay in key(E), but when I played my 808(key of D), it sounded crappy. Any idea why?

How do I sample Songs?

I've been trying to learn how to sample songs I like on FL Studio, but it's been impossible to find any good information on how to.

Every time I pick out a nice track and find some loops, I always have the same problem, no matter what I do, I can never get the cut to hit on the bar. I've tried stretching, moving the start and end times, and using FL Studio's automatic tempo fit. But it never works and just sounds bad.

I've tried looking for tutorials and videos, but every example conveniently shows a track with a bpm they already know, which is also already in a perfect 4-bar loop. No one explains how they get it to align perfectly.

Maybe my chops are just really bad, or my song selection.

How do I make better Chord progressions for Ambient beats?

Every time I try to make good progress, it ends up sounding generic or very basic. The basslines always feel too simple, and I don't know how to add any rhythm.

If anyone has any advice, please comment.

How can I improve this pad?

I made this in Vital, so if you have any sound design tips, that would be helpful. I added Valhalla Supermassive and Soundtoys Crystalizer to it

My card declined my monthly charge, but Amazon didn't recognize it

So I got a free trial last month, and yesterday was the final day. I checked my Cash App and saw that an Amazon payment was declined due to 'suspicious activity.'

After that, I checked my membership status and my receipt. There were no indications that it had declined, and it even said I had prime for another month.

Cancelled my plan after that. Should I use this month, or will Amazon try to charge again?

What is pastoral Music exactly and what are the characteristics of it?

I’ve been listening to more classical music lately and
Saw some songs and playlists called Pastoral.

I looked into it and found it relates to more natural and rural vibes.

My question is what are some pieces that are good examples of it and what makes it pastoral?

How do I make my 808s louder without clipping?

I’m trying to get a clear mix but when I turn my 808 up it just goes to hard above 0. I’ve tried to compress is but that just make it flat and it’s transient still spikes too much.

Can someone help me understand Roman numerals in relation to chords

So I've started looking more into chord progression, and I understand the basics, but what I don't get are roman numerals.

From what I understand, a numeral symbolizes the degree.

An uppercase Numeral means that the chord produced will be a minor or major triad. But also that they don't matter?

Because it's all relative to the key you're working with, so an uppercase numeral used in a major scale might be a minor relative to what note you're playing(which doesn't make sense).

I've also seen things where there are multiple systems for these roman numerals, so I don't know which one to use or which is more applicable.

I’ve been producing for about a year or two and in that time I’ve learned a lot about music theory and composition but also I saw an endless amount of stuff I don’t know yet.

I want to further my understanding of music and I don’t know where to start.

I understand chords, notes, and the other basics, but I don’t know how much more I need or where to begin.

I also don’t know how to mesh with the fact that I use a DAW so not all music theory applies to me.

I really want to take this seriously and I spend lots of time on music, but I just don’t know where to find a good stream of info.

Does anyone have any resources or tips?

I’m trying to make my beats feel calm and relaxing. And I’m not sure how to do it exactly. Should I be using minor chords, should I change my sound selection?

I’m trying to get the feel of nature.
