So i am i a campaign and we were having a great time. After the session i told the dm that i want my character to die at the end and if he can make something for it, she gets pouty and says that she doesn't want any character to die and wants a happy ending, i say u can still make a happy ending, even with a dead character and i want my character's arc to end in death and explained why it would complete his story. My dm was not having it and ignored me. Am i the asshole? did i do something wrong? What should i do instead?

Think afo but instead of stealing quirks, his cursed technique is stealing other cursed technique. He would probably be alive for around 100 years and have a ton of technique that he has stored. What could you do with a villan like that?
