Another iced espresso complaint

I don't use the mobile app, so can someone please explain to me why people do this? Why are you ordering a doppio espresso instead of a triple espresso? Or right after this, I got an order for a doppio espresso that was actually solo.

Why cold foam AND whipped cream?? Why all of these things AND with room?? As a barista, I don't get it lmao.

Starbucks, you gotta figure out what people can customize and can't on your mobile app, please. Limitations would be good for all, especially your baristas who have to stand and stare for WAY too long trying to read all these ridiculously long tickets that come through when you want to push your silly times. I'm wasting so much effort just trying to understand what I'm reading when I could have like, three other drinks out and ready in the time it takes me to make sure I've done everything listed on one order.

Like, can we, at the very least, figure out a better way to organize these tickets?? A little separation would be so helpful. Ngl, I miss the boxes. I could read and discern exactly what I was making way more easily than this block of text in an order that doesn't even match the boxes on the cups.

Iced/hot

Espresso/Shots

Size

Syrups

Milks

Custom (cold foams, drizzles, toppings, etc.)

2014 training is still ingrained in me, I guess.

Anyway, rant done, lmao. Thanks for listening.

Strange period

Hello, sure you see posts like this all the time, but sharing anyway, I guess.

I'm 33, and have noticed my period evolving - of course - since it started years ago.

Just for info, my early periods were crazy heavy, with them lasting as long as 12 days from start to finish. I would go through Ultra absorbency tampons in about 2 hours until around the 7th day, when it would become more manageable until it finally trickled out on days 10-12. Days 2-4 were my heaviest with large and frequent clots. Abdominal cramps were brutal.

Didn't find out until I was prgnant this was likely because I was VERY anemic. Almost needed a transfusion.

After that, and getting off years of birth control, I had a pretty normal cycle.

Ran about 7 days. Heaviest days were the 2nd and 3rd, where I could get by with Supers, after which I could switch to Regular, with it being over by day 7. This has been great, with the exception that, while my cramping isn't severe like it used to be, I get pinching in my ovaries when menstruating AND ovulating, and I've developed lower back pain. Weird.

I learned I have a couple small cysts on my ovaries. I suspect this is what's causing the discomfort there bimonthly. That's newish. I'm also at risk of cervical cancer, and have Vulvar Lichen Sclerosus and can become cancerous over time.

My last couple periods have gotten a little strange; shorter, lighter.

For me, this latest cycle got me pondering.

I thought my period faked me out, because two weeks ago, I started spotting and cramping. Enough to think my period was coming, but knew it was too early. Kept an eye on it, it went away. Weird. A week later, same thing, but heavier with more pain. Thought it was time for sure. Use a tampon, it's in for hours. Use the bathroom, remove it, and it's completely dry. But there's blood in the toilet?? Wtf. Freaked me out. Nothing again for another week.

Then, finally, cramps, and HEAVY period and clots on the first day. That never happens. Go through a couple Regular tampons, and the next day, it's sooooo light? Not much pain, no clots, regular tampons are hardly needed. Nothing but light spotting after that, and basically gone by day 4.

Eating habits haven't changed, not stressed any more than usual, been off birth control for a LONG while.

Could the cysts have caused this, or is it more likely a one off thing?

Lolol, sorry, tried to make this brief!

Tl;dr: cycle went from a normal 7 days, heaviest on day 2 to spotting randomly for two weeks, then really heavy, clotty day 1 period to a short, light 4 day week. Cause for concern? Not sexually active.

Always said Hazel

They look more green in normal lighting. Brown looking when my pupils are dilated and more green when constricted

Is Adenosine how heart attacks feel?

Not a typical medical question, but I've been wondering this for years. Adenosine temporarily stops your heart, right? It was an incredibly uncomfortable feeling for me when it was administered to me, and I've wondered since if it's what dying feels like, or a heart attack.

Wondering if anyone who's had this injection and a heart attack at some point could weigh in, or a medical professional.

Obviously not a dire or current issue.

If this can't be answered here, I would love to be directed somewhere I can ask!

Thanks!

Black and white!

(sorry for the repost, thought I accidentally flashed the Internet, but it was just my arm lmao.)

Anywayyyy, once again, I know it's overdone, but after 11 years of full pastel, I finally committed to doing half black! I think it was worth it! There are some remnants of lavender left in the silver side, but that's okay, it looks much more silver in person.

I know the pictures aren't the greatest, haha

Just wanted to share! I was proud of the result!

Shit sucks dude. Went from going to the restroom once a week as a kid to multiple times sometimes in one hour. If I eat, I feel like garbage; weak, shaky, inexplicably fatigued, nauseous, go to the bathroom 10 times a day.

If I don't eat, same deal. A little better, in a way, because I don't have to urgently go to the bathroom within 5 minutes. But when I do finally eat, it's worse than if I had, and after a while, same deal - shaky, fatigued, weak.

How the fuck do you win

Water does the same thing, literally THINKING about food does it, I discovered, which is actually insane.

I take imodium every two days, gas x every day for the ridiculous belching, and tums for the acid reflux. Have to time the imodium right or end up in bed for 12 hours in the worst pain of my life from cramps. Absolutely awful. Lose jobs over the need to use the restroom. Lower abnominal pain ( hurts to press my abdomen ever, and feels like a stretched muscle, feels like I'm on my period daily) and feels separate from the rest of my body.

Ibs is a bitch.

Anyway, wanted to vent where people would understand.

Thanks for listening.
