Nia yelling at the kid and the kid crying was so sad, cause it kinda made me reminisce of my childhood, and how I used to cry because some adult was having a bad day and shouted out of nowhere

Nia yelling at the kid and the kid crying was so sad, cause it kinda made me reminisce of my childhood, and how I used to cry because some adult was having a bad day and shouted out of nowhere

As an adults we forget how kids react to things and their thought process and life is completely different than adults.

I mean, its been so long since i was a child, but seeing her crying made me put in her thought process, cause someone yelling hurts, as a kid, cause a kid doesnt know what is right or wrong, it happened to me a lot, even someone speaking startled kids and lead to crying.

I mean to be fair, it was also not Nia's entire fault cause she surely didn't mean to make her cry, but children dont understand complex emotions like sarcasm and so nia yelling meant that she was yelling her literally and that's why we should talk with kids with respect.

I really like how arjun said "I want a cute daughter like her" and the kid beamed up and looked at him. These things might feel pretentious to adults, but kids love it when people show that they care and are adults are happy that they are there.

These yahoos are also mixing sugarcane juice with their petroleum, but why there vehicles are not breaking down like Indian ones?

Earlier, this post was supposed to be about Putin, Trump and Xi, and the title was "If ethanol was viable, these three must have started at least two wars for it"

Cause i thought only India use it, but was surprised that USA and China has variants for that too. So the question arises, "Whats wrong with desi sugarcanes?"

For the last fucking time, Ned wasn't a fool and didn't got himself killed cause of foolishness, people who claim this have forgotten what really happened in book 1 or season 1

So, it literally boils me that Ned has been declared a "Fool" by intellects who seem to have forgotten the core of his personality, that he wants his best to give people a fair chance, even his enemies.

That is why he went to Cersei, and told her he knows about the legitimacy of her children and the role she played in covering all that up. Even after she tried to kill Bran, he wanted to save Cersei's children, cause he understood they were innocent and they all will be massacred when Robert finds out.

The only thing was that cards were not in his side, cause Cersei killed Robert, and that too subtly, literally no one would have thought that Robert would have died abruptly. Had he been alive they all woukd have been butchered at best ir would have been hiding in Westerlands or Essos somewhere while Robert would have unleashed his fury on Ned.

Now, dis he got himself killed, after Robert died, not necessarily. The only mistake he made was not to make an ally with Littlefinger or Varys, otherwise even till the moment to Baelor! When he "confessed" his crimes, Cersei and Tywin weren't going to kill him.

They knew what had happened last time when Northern and Riverland forces came down south, they literally bought 300 year dynasty down.

So, they made him shut down his honor for his daughter and made him claim that Jofferey is the legitimate her, so that Stannis claim could be weaken, cause if their plan had worked, they would have sent Ned to the wall, and they would have tried to manipulate Ned into negotiating that Robb claim Jofferey as Kimg for Sansa and Arya.

But rather the real "fool" Jofferey impulsively aroused by his power, killed him, even cersei and all are looked begging and persuading him to stop, but the real "fool" wanted a spectacle and got him killed.

So what do y'all think about that?

Edit: So the guys who are saying that Starks dont know the political games, first of all they rule the North, which is half the size of westeroes and mostly wilderness. They manage the northern houses and people and make sure that they have all the resources, and well fed in these harsh and difficult terrain. Furthermore, they do more than the realm than gold digging southerners, they have a pact that one member from each generation will give up all his lordship and serve in the Night's Watch (as seen in HOTD s02, unnamed Stark member, Benjen Stark, Jon Snow) They are aware of the White Walkers and are the first line of defense there, and if not they are always protecting the realm from wilding threats. All this while some southern lords waste away in pubs and whore houses. Also, they never had any issues with succession, cause they have given the values and morals to their children and made them understand the meaning of unity, No Stark children will try to kill his brother or try to usurp the throne from him, they all respect their kings decision on who is heir, all the while there is a bloodbath as soon as some father's die down south.

Yeah, they dont play the political game of Kings Landing, they are least interested in that cause they are literally playing or fighting more important battles than fighting for a chair. They honestly understand it is so futile, to loose your honor, kill and betray your own kind, just to sit on the throw for at best 6 months to a year, until someone your betray and kill you. So, its clear these honorable starks no better politics than these "Ultra Rich Southern Lords" cause they are fighting the battles for the sole reason of purpose and honor, unlike these southerns who fight just because of their ego! All Hail House Stark!!!!

If Tywin Lannister was involved, he would have married this five with each other and that would have been the end of this nonsense!

Why didnt Viserys just go to Tywin The Cool, what exactly could have been stopping him?

I feel like House Targaryen from Game Of Thrones is the most honest portrayal of what the Mughals must been like

I'm not saying that George R. R. Martin, used mughals as an inspiration, but as much lore I read about the Targaryens, how they ruled over a sub continent for 300 years, feels very similar to Mughals.

I guess the point I'm trying to make is that due to recent politics the Mughals are shown as antagonists and in Nehru era, they were shown as a Neutral Force.

And both the dynasties used fear as a tool to rule, that's why people were secretly hoping that they fall and when opportunity presented itself, people fully revolted not caring about their lives

Even the dressing style feels lot like Indian, and I swear in the 3rd pic how daemon dresses, it literally feel like a royal achkan wore by Rajput Kings or Maharana Pratap and similar attire were worn by some mughals as well.

Furthermore both these dynasties lasted a really long time, and was mostly destroyed by internal civil wars and bloody quests for thrones.

I guess my point is that it is nearly impossible to show a real dynasty especially in India with such complexity and depth, due to people getting offended, Either these people are completely good or completely bad, black or white.

But the real Mughal dynasty must be closer to the Targaryens, some mad kings, some absolute peacemaker, some kings who literally thought of them as gods, and so on.

I don't know what it is but just the way this song slowly comes into focus is literally giving me goosebumps and is genuinely scary

Even the songs choice is so eerie, and like I don't know it feels like the kind of scene that I imagine when I imagine a horror movie, like some women ghost singing in the distance, the suspense really got me.

Maybe it doesn't help that im right now the only one in a big rajasthani mansion like this 🤣😰

If she was working in Bollywood, people would had shamed her to get that nose "perfected" by certain doctors

How dare Emily Carrey keep her natural face intact, she should try to look more like the Kardashians, any one of them, Kim, Kylie or even Robert would be acceptable!

I have been trying to grow it long for the first time but has started to bend sideways from the bottom, what can I do Best?

I'm hoping to grow beard like the next photo, this is after 6 months, It was equal everywhere but I cut it from sides and cheeks. No the bottom parts have started to bend a little from the tips and are like going sideways, so I thought the best way is to cut it in shape. Besides that I dont use any products, so what can I use to get close to the next one

Anyone else is super pissed that Yeh Unn Dino Ki Baat Hai never came back, I only watched 10% of the show in background, but still I am

I mean I remember it cancelling just abruptly, and the reason KBC required 1 and half hour time slot 🤬🤬🤬🤬, I mean it felt like the classic big guys dont care about the small guys no matter how good the show was.

But, I have such fond and vivid memories of this show when it used to air, the reason I only watched the show 10% is cause my mother and sister would watch it, and I would pretend to not watch it (Cause Im a Man! 💪🤣) but I would listen to it as it would be running in the background, (Udariyaan was one such other show which I used to listen while pretending to sleep, cause Im a Man! 💪🤣,I know, working on it)

and it was a good show filled with heartwarming moments, but the storyline I remembered the most or that hit me the most was Naina's brother's Arjun and Shefali, it really broke my heart, when their relationship came in front of his family how much he was scolding him, and I remember Naina was such a supportive and loving girlfriend, seeing arjun getting intimated, motivated him, "Arjun please thodi himmat karo" 💔💔💔 but finally he says that I don't recognise this girl and his father asks Shefali to get out 💔💔💔💔

That uncle, Chandrash Singh, that played their father really pissed me off cause Arjun and Shefali did seem something that would have beautiful together but was separated due to their parents stubbornness and ego. I even remember he didn't come to naina's wedding and was saying smthng like naina is strong but I have to support my weak child, Arjun.

But anyways, I have never seen my sister and my mother really shocked and emotional over a show ending (Wait! Are they are more Man than me? 💪🤣)

Literally im watching them from saas bhi kabhi bahut, to dil mil gaye and what not but have never seen emotional but in the last week they left everything and sticked to the screen and even I joined them, and they were visibly emotional seeing those flashbacks in last episode.

And then, it ended, I think ladies night was also a show that ended that week for KBC. And I thought season 2 would come next year, but Season 1 of Corona virus came, and the shows season 2 never came, and we had rumors here and there for last 7 years, but I don't think even if the season 2 will come, it will be the same, cause we have grown up, my sister married, my mother with her right now in USA, and 2019 itself has become a nostalgic time whose magic would be difficult to capture.

Let's not forget the show that started it all, Permanent Roommates, this was the first series on YouTube put back in 2014, that started the trend of web series, how many of y'all remember it?

This series literally broke the mould and waved the path for a new wave of storytelling in India. That content on YouTube should also be taken seriously, and can be something more. Cause seriously back then prank videos, skits and really short videos were the rage. Like today, you easily get an hour or even longer videos, and This show helped normalize that, and I think even helped create a path for Netflix, amazon and othe guys.

And to those who think that tvf recent shows take really dark twists, (Kota Factory, Panchayat, Aspirants and so on) they are literally doing that since their first show. Only difference is that earlier it used to be earned but now its like a formula that they are doing it for shock value.

My favorite episode is the season finale of second season, cause all throughout the series these two guys are fighting each other and driving each other crazy but this episode really establish that why they are perfect for each other.

So, I think 2015 was a great year for a bollywood music and I think the 9xm era ended that year, cause since 2016 like all mainstream film songs started to feel like blah. But looking back I can't even articulate how amazing these songs are, so much heart and soul, here are my picks from 2016 - 2020

I mean I used to religiously download songs from pagalworld.com and generally the songs would stick with me, but I dont know what changed after 2016 that mainstream songs like just lost touch for me, and even with the films, maybe cause I started leaning towards hollywood films and tv more, but I dont know after 5-10 years, especially after corona, I realised some of these tracks are pure heaven. (Maybe cause i started drinking beer after 2020 and would have singalongs after getting hammered) but here's the list, strictly bollywood film songs from 2016 to 2020

2016

Bulleya (Sultan): What can I say, it maybe my favorite from the list. This song is embodiment of everything sufism is about, at what it says about love, especially when the source of this song and chaeyya chaeyya are same. And also the video, when Salman hopefully starts going towards anushka, cause she looked happy that day, and he smiles for her, but anushka then suddenly darts past him, acknowledging but completely ignoring like she even knows her 🙌🙌 chefs kiss

Hass Nach Le (Udta Punjab): Another sufi-esque song, i feel the vibe of this song is similar to kun faaya kun, like I feel closer to god, I dont know, The lines in the beginning, "baitha madari to gagan pe, banda jamura magan hai" really makes well up a bit.

Sanam Teri Kasam Title Song: It's hits hard at night, especially cause it feels like a lost track of aashiqui 2 ir something.

Channa Mereya (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil): I kinda hated this song back then cause like it was everywhere, and I guess it kinda pulls away from the experience, but man this song really elevates you if you give it the respect it deserves.

2017

Enna Sona (Ok Jaanu): It just make me nostalgic for a time I never had or maybe never will have, that love that you find in early 20s and try to make it work and some days are just pure bliss, man, and the black and white visuals, of these two in Bombay 💝💝💝

Sweety Tera Drama and Bairaagi (Barielliy Ki Barfi): its my favorite hindi rom com of all time, period and these two songs articulate that well, that Anamoly of era in 2017 to 2020 where small town films were the rage depicted by sweety tera drama, and the love of chiraag for bitti in bairaagi.

I'll miss you (Secret Superstar): This is a different kind of love, yet the most pure, its not about crying that the love is getting lost, its about being thankful that we have that. And to be in that age of 16-17 and to understand that we both want to be together, and feel good but can't cause we are still kids but where we went wrong was papa strict hai, unhone milne se mana kar diya hai 💔💔💔💔

2018: This is big one cause have to leave so many out

Tera Yaar Hoon Main (SKTKS): Friends are not given that respect cause maybe we think they will be here always and maybe thats why they were sidelined, but after see you again, its this song for us, to show that we are as passionate friends as we are lovers.

Pal (Jalebi), Nazar Na Lag Jaye (Stree), Tum (Laila Majnu): Only one word, Encore! 🫶🫶🫶🫶❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Daryaa and Hallaa (Manmarziyaan): It's Vicky Kaushal for me standing outside Taapsee's house cause he may be commitment phobic but he loves her with all his heart 🥺

2019

Khairiyat (Chichore): Both the tracks are crazy like, how can they be so good, again feels like they are some lost tracks from a mid 2000s Bhatt camp movie. Anjaam hai taiy mera, hona tumhe hai mera, jitni bhi ho dooriyaan.....

Doori and Azadi (Gully Boy): I think the depth of these songs and lyrics are maybe lost cause they are put in the rap genre, but listen to it with same heart as the others and you will know, and ranveer singh what a beast of a performer man!

2020

Humraah (Malang), Aabaad Barbaad and Hardum Humdum (Ludo): I just realised aditya roy kapoor is like emraan hashmi for me, didn't watch many of his films, but the songs 🫶.

I know the title track of malang is the sauce but I like this way more for its free vibe.

Aabaad Barbaad is again telling heavy feelings with slightly celebratory music and Hardum Hamdum, the Shilpa Rao female version depicts a melancholic happy ending for me especially when it plays at the end of the film.

So, that's it 😮‍💨 what about y'all?
