Mom bought a huge stack of unbranded Taiwanese notebooks ~30 years ago, and she's finally down to her last one. I'm trying to find replacements for her birthday, but couldn't find anything similar, mostly because of the 9mm ruling used in them.

I've searched everywhere including big stationary shops online & offline (including smaller shops on Etsy, but nothing really seems to match). Hoping /r/Notebooks could find something similar!

 

Criteria:

• A5 sized
• Hardcover
• Lays flat
• 8-9mm rulings
• Minimal ghosting (rules out Tomoe paper sadly)
• High page count (the old notebooks were 35mm thick!)
• Good with Gel/Ballpoint pens

 

The closest I could find was the 411 page Leuchtturm but that has 6mm rulings.
