The Full Pan shot from The Trial by Pink Floyd [partially lost]
Clip one (best quality upload)
Roger waters knows exactly what he's doing and hes being a jerk about it by keeping all the reels and projections from us that were used in the live shows. The closest we'll ever get to an official release of these projections is the 1982 film, and even then they had to edit the animations heavily to keep them in the same aspect ratio of the movie. It also didn't help that the original background art used in these animations were stolen. I know when most people talk about the wall in earls court, they mean the High quality release of the shows like what they did for "The Happiest Days of our Lives", i just feel like the trial is constantly swept under the rug because it is my favorite pink floyd song and no one really talks about it lol

My take on The Hammers
I've had this take for a little bit now, just wanna share it. Now, i understand the hammers where based off hammerskins, but I never understood why hammer. In my opinion, considering roger turned this album into a more political piece (which i think is dumb) i feel like the hammers are an allegory for the fact that the soilders are tools to the government. But, I feel like in the story, The Hammers are The Worms (besides the bald mfs) and they are again, tools for Pink and how, in his head, he is a dictator. i understand that the hammer symbol is a huge reference to The Swastika used by the nazis, but i still feel like hammers are just random. About roger making the wall more political than it is, its pretty dumb. Yes, there are songs like "Goodbye Blue Sky" and (maybe) "In the Flesh" through "Waiting for the Worms". But other than that, it's just about some guy in a hotel room reflecting on his life and isolating himself.
