Why is my Q2 getting this error during initial setup?

“No trigger on probe after full movement” is the error that reads on the screen. This is happening right out of the box during initial setup of the printer. I’ve already tried turning the power off, unplugging and then manually turning the z axis screws until the bed is level. When i start the auto leveling process again, one screw starts to turn while the other is delayed, causing the bed to become unlevel again! Extremely frustrating since i just paid $650 for this and received it today!

SUNLU PLA “WOOD” FILAMENT?

I couldn’t find anything similar on the Polymaker website so i’m considering this wood filament. It has 15% wood fibers by volume. It’s not PLA+ or PRO but will this work for furniture and grips? I’m thinking like SMP40 grips and Trash Panda and CETME 2077 furniture specifically.

Filament from Alibaba.com?

Has anybody had any success buying pla+ or carbon fiber nylon filament from china via alibaba.com? What are some chinese brands that are actually good quality for 3d2a builds? I took a chance and bought two kilos of Printroo PA6-CF filament last night for about $23 per spool shipped. It had good ratings so I hope it’s worth it.

How can I sell the diamonds in my store’s inventory?

i own a cash for gold business in Nevada that’s been open for almost a year now. does anybody have any recommendations on where to try to sell these and future diamonds/gemstones that i pull from rings in our inventory? up until last month i’d just been sending gold rings with stones to the refinery for melt down. i don’t know anyone who works at a jewelry store and i don’t even know if that’s the way to go anyway. I know the diamond market/industry is a total scam but 🤷🏼‍♂️

Wth did I just find in grandpa’s garage? Can I use this Milsurp powder?

Helping clean out my grandparents’ home today as grandpa passed away and grandma is going to an assisted living facility. I’m going through stacks and boxes of stuff in the garage and find this big tub full of gunpowder. It says WW2 surplus?! Is this worth anything on the resale market or can I at least use it? I’ve bought up some reloading equipment and dies in the last year but haven’t gotten started just yet. Would it be dangerous to use this powder for reloading modern cartridges? Thanks in advance!

Edit: Been stored in hot dry Vegas weather since 1971. No clumping, no strong or foul smells and although the canister was opened in 1971 according to pencil writing on the lid, it looks full and was sealed with plastic bags and movers tape. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Help With VZ61 Receiver Fitment Issue

Czechpoint lower receiver bought from Atlantic arms. K-Var.com parts kit and upper receiver with barrel pre-populated. Wtf is up with these blatantly retarded tolerances? I am so close to finishing this kit, my first Vz61, and I have no idea how to fix this pivot pin hole issue. At this point do I send it back to Atlantic? Czechpoint? This is ridiculous. When I had the pin in all the way, the upper receiver would not close/mate onto the lower. I was using a sharpie to mark the rear of the upper receiver to see where it was catching on the lower and then I filed the rear upper down. This was before I read somewhere to try to mate the two receivers together and THEN push the pin all the way through. That’s when I discovered the 1/4” separation of the two

What’s the current going price for a semi auto Maxim MG 08/15?

I bought one from Dan Morphey Auctions in 2021 that was in non firing condition. I spent the last 5 years accumulating original parts for it and it’s now been six months since I left it with a local gunsmith who specializes in belt fed MGs. Got the call today that it’s up and running and just needs to have the RHSP rivets installed and it’ll be ready for pickup in a few days. I can’t find one for sale nor can i find any closed auction listings for one to determine value. What’s the realistic value for one in really good condition with OG bipod and belts?

SGAmmo Killer bulk deal? Or hot garbage?

I want to start stocking .22lr for cheap but use reliable ammo. Found this on ammoseek but i can’t find any reviews on this type of ammo. Mislabeled 5000 rd cases of Winchester black copper coated 40gr .22LR ammo. Does anybody know about this stuff and whether it’s reliable in semi autos? Is it loaded up with lube that’s gonna mess up my mags and action? https://sgammo.com/product/22-lr-ammo/5000-round-case-22lr-40-grain-lead-round-nose-winchester-target-plinking-ammo-zusa22lr/

I just booked NCL’s most expensive cruise (Japan) with a free cruise for 2 NCL casino reward! AMA!

I was on the NCL Escape earlier this month on a 7 night West Caribbean cruise. Not a gambler at all but I’d read in this sub many stories of people earning free cruise offers and other perks by accruing 2000+ players club rewards points so I decided to make it a goal to get a free cruise for 2. I played for about an hour every night and about three hours total on two days at sea. I played video penny slots and almost all my bets were the minimum amount $0.60 per spin. It took me $2500 of my own money to hit 2000 rewards points. Everything I’d win, big or small, I’d just cycle back into the machine to maximize my “coin in” and keep earning points. I stopped playing altogether as soon as i hit 2000 points. I estimate that i turned my $2500 bankroll into around $10,000 of “coin-in” play. I then went to a casino host and asked her to please check my rewards account and verify that my 2000 points did in fact trigger an automatic “free cruise for two” certificate. She confirmed it.

Fast forward 2 weeks to yesterday. I’d emailed NCL Casinos At Sea to get the terms and limitations for the cruise certificate and they said it’s good for an interior cabin on any itinerary anywhere NCL goes up to 14 nights excluding Hawaii and must be booked within 60 days of my last cruise and must sail within 1 year. I then set about searching NCL’s booking website to find the absolute best bang for my buck. I found a 14 night $3300 Iceland cruise and a 14 night $4400 Japan and South Korea cruise that both fit all of NCL’s Casinos At Sea terms. I decided on Japan since it was more expensive and my daughter is obsessed with Japanese culture.

Yesterday I called Casinos At Sea and spent an hour going through a very detailed booking process with a casino host/booking agent. For a $125 deposit I was able to secure the April 10, 2027 reservation. Port fees, administrative fees and taxes added up to $520 per guest. I paid another $580 to upgrade my interior cabin to a guaranteed large window ocean view cabin. $110 travel insurance, $80 upgraded dining package, $234 upgraded WiFi and $399 for the open bar package. Yes I know drinks in the casino are included with all of these CAS certificates but my 14 night itinerary has 13 ports of call and the casino will only be open after the Jade has departed around 6:00-7:00pm each night on average. So anyways it all came out to be $1,950 per person for all of that, which imo is a bargain. The agent told me that since so many ocean view rooms are already sold out on this cruise, there’s a very good chance they will be overbooked by April and I will be offered a free upgrade to a balcony cabin which is normally $8,600 per person. Fingers crossed!

One last thing regarding getting my moneys worth from that one single $2,500 casino loss on the NCL Escape: I created a free account at URComped and submitted to them proof of my NCL free cruise certificate. Within 2 days they were able to negotiate a new, separate free cruise offer for me from a different cruise line looking to attract new casino players. I scored a 10 day cruise to the Southern Caribbean (Aruba, Curaçao, etc.) including free wifi package and drinks in the casino! I booked it for September. I expect even more cruise offers from more cruise lines in the near future with URComped, especially if I play on this next cruise.

So in closing, I turned $2500 in casino play into two free cruises totaling $11,000+ for two people ($4,400 pp Japan cruise and $1,250 pp Caribbean cruise). Subtract from that the original $2500 bankroll and the $1,950 in fees and upgrades for the Japan cruise and I’m still WAY ahead. Anyone can do exactly the same thing as I did, you just have to be resourceful and do your own research!

14 Night NCL Jade Japan/Korea Itinerary. Anyone done it? How was it?

I just booked this cruise for April of next year with my daughter and I’m wondering if anybody has done this itinerary before and how well you liked (or disliked) it.
