I've been running my home server from a raspberry pi. No complaints on the performance, it does what it can do well, but it is limited in what it can do because it's ARM. I bought a mini pc to replace it, but haven't decided what distro to go with. Ubuntu server would be fine, but I want a GUI and I'm not enthusiastic about Ubuntu desktop. I run Mint on my laptop and I love it, but it has limitations for my needs as a server.

What are your recommendations?

I understand about the red shifting of galaxies farther away, but I'm struggling with the conclusion. If the expansion of the universe were accelerating, wouldn't we need to observe an increase in the redshift of a single galaxy over time? If we are basing the conclusion on just the higher redshift of galaxies farther away, couldn't that just mean that the entire universe was expanding faster in the past? Like, the redshift of a galaxy 10 billion ly away would just mean that 10 billion years ago the universe was expanding faster?

And I hated it. The second season was really good, much better than the first. I was very impressed. And then the finale happened. What was that? The Joker barely smiled or laughed, the voice actor couldn't decide on British, French, German, or Russian accent, Batman tries to kill the Joker for no good reason. Why was he even fighting the Joker instead of saving people from the "zombies?"

Title, basically. I'm combining several dozen files into a single file, but I'd like to add chapter markers where each file would begin. I've found instruction for manually doing it, but is there an easier way?

And it's already one of my favorite books. Great plot so far, great humor, approachable scifi, great philisophical questions. This is such a great idea. It has a huge potential for developing different storylines without having to introduce a completely new protagonist every time. I'm really looking forward to it

For instance, the stellar drift fix explaining why they were never able to establish a gate to any other address than Abydos.

Last week our proaster suddenly started needing more heat applied to match profiles. We checked for airflow leaks, checked the airflow control, checked the probes, did a deep clean, checked out batch weights. Weather doesn't account for it.

Anything else we should check?

I've tried everything I can find. I tried Bluetooth, I tried wireless adapter, I tried connecting via the wire, I tried holding - and LB for five seconds (nothing happened).

I understand this is a stupid question, but I'm just trying to work through the thought experiment.

For example, if somewhere within the orbit of Earth a sphere of spacetime the size of the sun suddenly disappeared, what would be the effects? Obviously it would change the relative position of the objects in the solar system, but what else? Would there be a shock wave of any kind?

I cannot for the life of me find an English subtitle srt for Howl's Moving Castle.

I tried OpenSubtitles and there are NO films matching the name. I tried tvsubs, too, and msubs. NOTHING.

Am I just doing something wrong? Is there a different release title?

I'm trying to convert an epub to PDF and add page numbers in the process. I want the page numbers to start as "1" at the beginning of chapter 1. So far all my attempts either add "0" at the bottom of the pages before Chapter 1 or they go into negative numbers before chapter 1. Does anyone have the correct command to only start numbering at a specific page?

Hey all! So, I've been working on Artisan 3.1.0 and decided to try updating to 4.0.2. It went terribly! The UI has changed significantly, so it took a while to figure out where the important stuff was. Most unfortunately, the option to add Sliders was grayed out no matter what I tried. Anyone else experience "update shock?"

Luckily I had 3.1.0 backed up as an appimage, but I was really hoping to see the updates in action. Any advice?
