Japanese credit card applications acquired!

Got card application envelopes: from FamilyMart, JR's View Card, and MUFG Nicos' Amex Platinum card. Even if I couldn't apply (I wish I could), at least the envelopes look nice. I just wish the white pattern was a bit darker than it is, but I'm still a big fan! The purple one especially - I only have one other pattern with that colour! They all had me looking for any thick brochures I could find in-store, especially ones wrapped in plastic sleeves.

Found this old Calculus Textbook!

I found this interesting so I hung onto it, but now I have no idea what to do with it, would anyone even be interested in buying something like this? I don't want it to just be trashed.

These miniatures are super cute!!

They even open up in the back like a real mailbox, and have working letterslots that accept small bits of paper. I found these in Fuchu and Shinjuku station's Gachagacha no mori!

When I was out and about in Japan, I found a few patterns!

The front of some of the ATM envelopes seemed to have a pretty nice pattern on the outside (Resona Bank, SMBC, and Sumitomo Mitsui Trust bank). Also, when my neighbourhood had a trash day and everyone brings out their paper to be recycled, I got the green "scale" pattern on the bottom. Also, I thought these two little guys were pretty cute so I picked them up as well ๐Ÿ˜†

Got some European patterns!

I'm so thankful for a recent swap, and I just got another one today! Some fantastic patterns came by my place and I was amazed to see a few patterns that were on my radar from a company based out of the EU. They had to charge a lot to export to the US so I gave up, but I was so happy to see them irl! Thank you to Fabulous-Piglet6190 for a great time adding these to my collection.

This even happens in Japan!

This coffee on the right says "20 grams more" but is really 20 grams less than before but the same price.

The last bunch of envelopes from Grandma's house are here!

Still got a few more rounds of photos to share but still amazed at the variety, Japan doesn't miss ๐Ÿ˜ค

Even if there are stupid tariffs, I'm always thankful to find these south of the border!

I just wish CVS carried other Celebration Products, but maybe one day!

Awesome variety of new-to-me's!

Thank you to caramintbutler for the great trade the other day! I got so many new patterns, and even some upgrades as well! This was such a blast, thanks a lot! ๐Ÿ˜

This has to be my new all time favourite pattern.

I still have plenty more to share! This one came from a Chuo bank envelope in Japan (They no longer exist in this form, and I have no idea how old this one is, definitely showa-era) but I made a high-quality scan of it to preserve it for the future! I also have some other patterns off of some very large envelopes (like larger than A4), I still cannot believe I got this much, and more is coming up!

Thanks for the great trade! Plus two rare new-to-me's!

Big shout-out to @LizardLover265, AMAZING job on the swap, really made it special with the stickers with one even one on the envelope itself! ๐Ÿ˜ These are great pieces for the collection! On the second picture I just found a few rare ones from Japan that I will keep in my collection, but wanted to share what I found! (I ended up flipping the third image as they printed it backwards, I think for a see-through effect)

Round 1 is finally ready to send!

I was wanting to get my first swaps mailed earlier this week, but getting them ready and picking a good variety was a tough thing to do quickly for me. I am glad to finally get them in the mail before the end of the week! If you are swapping with me and have sent me a DM, you should be getting a message tomorrow. I'm looking forward to all your swaps, and I hope you'll enjoy the variety and presentation :)

Just found a new to me from Tokyo Elections!

I love that my country has all these mascots ๐Ÿ˜ Also really glad to get another sunburst colour variety, They look so gorgeous. I'll have to make a post with all my colour varieties together on one page in the future.

My mom's friends saved some envelopes for me!

They wanted to help out so for the week or two before I arrived they collected a few patterns for me! The green one on the top left had very little to work with but I still managed to put together a full sample for my album. Still plenty left to go through.

I'm so glad to be home!

It's been a week since I got back, and I'm just now getting to my mail and am so happy to get these patterns! A big THANK YOU to Serenity_now156 for the great giveaway - you've got 9 new to me patterns coming your way! And to all my other swappies- now that I'm home, I'm getting more patterns ready to send off, and I am now able to swap! Just lemme kno' whenever you see something you like, or see something on a previous post you liked. I may not have as much jet lag but I'm heavy on new patterns, so excited to get into the stack.

Kellogg's cereal from Japan!

There are lots of goodies with some good chocolate flakes quickly turning my milk chocolately after two bites. Pretty sweet, too at almost 30 grams a cup, but I've never had a cereal with actual hazelnuts inside along with pumpkin seeds. I think I need to buy a couple more bags on my next trip! 10/10 cereal.

I'm so happy to finally track this guy down!!

Rotring 800 ballpoint with 1mm black ink. I've been searching for this one for so long, as most of the ones for sale are the mechanical pencil variety. When I saw this at Loft in Shibuya, I was so happy to get it in my hands. I just love how the brass portion around the nib is spring-loaded, and hides away when the pen is not in use. The weight is great and the pen writes so smooth.

4 variations of the same pattern!

Just cut out my first pattern of the lot and noticed 4 different versions of the same pattern, 2 light and 2 dark. Kinda neat, but also very subtle. Really glad to add these 4 to my album!
