Cursor turns white (invisible) sometimes when hovering over text boxes

Just got a Nimo laptop, a little unsure about it. I really, really, really hate the keyboard but hopefully I get used to it. One thing that's driving me crazy is that the I-shaped cursor turns white sometimes when hovering over text boxes, making it effectively invisible. But it doesn't happen every time, only sometimes. Is there any way to fix that or is there a reason why these laptops are so cheap?

Is there any way to do what Ctrl-Enter does in Excel?

I don't use Google Sheets often but have to for something for work right now and it is doing a lot of manual inputting. A lot of times, what I want to input applies to a lot of cells, so I would like to do what Ctrl-Enter does in Excel and apply those contents to all cells I have selected, but that doesn't work in Google Sheets. I have noticed I can press Enter, and then Ctrl-Enter, and that works, but only if the cell I typed in was the very top cell of a contiguous range, it doesn't seem to work otherwise, and often clears my entire selection. I have seen that Ctrl-D is suggested but that just tries to save the page as a bookmark.

My sweat only sm*lls if I have showered recently

I have had this really annoying problem lately where my sweat will smell bad even if I get just a tiny bit sweaty, particularly around my knees, but only if I have showered in the last few hours. If I wake up and don't shower and go on a 10-mile bike ride and get absolutely drenched in sweat, my sweat doesn't really smell. But if I shower, then drive to get groceries, and get minimally sweaty (basically an otherwise negligible amount), my knees will have a distinct funky smell. It's not a terrible smell, but it just drives me absolutely crazy. I have been trying to be more thorough drying off lately, like literally getting 100% dry all over when I get out of the shower. And yet the second I get even the slightest bit sweaty, I get the same smell coming from my legs. I literally have no idea what is going on and I've even seen a doctor who tried to shoo me out the door as fast as possible with some prescriptions. I have not found this problem anywhere else on the internet.

My laptop goes into some sort of temporary sleep mode when I place my PS5 controller in a certain spot on my keyboard but I can't figure out why

Last night I noticed this bizarre phenomenon where I place my PS5 controller on my laptop keyboard and it immediately turns my screen off and when I pick up the controller the screen comes back on to my lock screen, but pressing any button gets rid of it and puts me right back where I was. I cannot for the life of me figure out why this is happening. The controller doesn't seem to be pressing any button where I place it. I have tried recreating this with my hand or other objects but can't get it to happen. This is what it looks like when the sleep mode is triggered by the controller, and this is what it looks like without the controller. The touchpad is turned off as well. Disregard my dirty keyboard and controller. This isn't really a huge problem as I can just place my controller anywhere else, it's just completely perplexing me as to why it's happening and I'd like to know what exactly is going on here.

Looking for an iOS app that essentially does nothing but keep the screen on

I have a unique problem where I have an app that tracks my location, but I have noticed the accuracy is much worse when my screen is locked. This usually isn't an issue, as I usually have my phone unlocked when moving, but the issue arises when I go for bike rides. I can keep my phone in my pocket with it unlocked, but that leaves me at risk of accidentally pressing a button on the screen. I have pulled my phone out of my pocket after a bike ride and realized I was dangerously close to doing something bad, like deleting certain data. I am basically looking for an app that essentially is just a blank screen with no buttons on the screen, but that keeps the phone unlocked with long periods of inactivity. Thanks in advance. Also would take suggestions for an app that doesn't necessary do nothing, but it keeps the screen on and doesn't have any potentially dangerous functionality (does the calculator app keep your phone unlocked?).

English version of the Tokyo Fire Department Hyper Rescue Team's Algorithm March

About a decade ago my mom and I were in the living room not really paying attention to the TV which happened to be on NHK showing PythagoraSwitch (in the US). One of the clips was what I have realized was the Tokyo Fire Department Hyper Rescue Team doing the Algorithm March. I actually have found the video on TikTok by googling it in Japanese. However, this is in Japanese. The one I saw was dubbed into English, I think with both English and Japanese subtitles. I can't seem to find the English dub anywhere. I mostly just want it for posterity reasons, my mom and I used to always sing this for a while and now we both forget how it went. Every English translation seems to be slightly different and I want to remember the translation used in this video.

Are there any blue blockers that still work?

I used this for three years but it hasn't worked for a month and it seems like the developer has stopped updating it. Are there any of these that still work?

Stop answering different questions from the one being asked!

This is a huge pet peeve of mine on Reddit. Somebody will ask a question and because you literally have to say something, you will answer a completely different question than the one asked. Think to yourself "is my answer actually answering the question, or a completely different one?" Then if your answer isn't actually answering the question, don't comment! You don't have to comment on every single post you see!!!

If your answer to "how do I do this on Windows" is "use Linux", you are insufferable and this is why you have no friends!

Any browser extensions to remove clutter from Google Ads?

The bloat on the Google Ads web UI is unbearable lately and only seem to get worse. Are there any browser extensions out there that clear this unnecessary crap? I use uBlock Origin to block elements I don't like but unfortunately it also blocks my ads themselves so I frequently have to turn it off to do stuff to my ads.

[TOMT][Satire Post] Satire article/post about using a slingshot or catapult as public transit

I saw something posted very recently that humorously suggested people using a slingshot or a catapult as public transit, perhaps as an airport shuttle. I found this article about Elon Musk unveiling a public slingshot system but it doesn't ring any bells to me. I thought it was The Onion but I can't find anything other than the one I linked. It may have been Clickhole, or another Onion-like satire news publication like The Hard Times or Reductress. I know that I saw it posted very recently (within the last month or two), likely on Instagram, but that doesn't mean that was when it was first published, as The Onion loves to repost old stuff when they become relevant again. I seem to remember the photo associated with the article was a man with luggage getting loaded into a slingshot along a river, but could be misremembering some details.

Seatgeek is changing prices for tickets based on your filters

I was looking for tickets for my dad and saw an amazing deal for two tickets that were $24 each. Since most promo codes only work if you spend $50+, I changed my filter to only show me tickets $25+ to see if I could get a slightly better deal on more expensive tickets with a 10% off promo code, and those same $24 tickets suddenly became $26. And it's not like the price just got refreshed, because they would go back to $24 if I cleared the filter. Sadly I actually bought those tickets at $26 because with the promo code they were cheaper than they would have been at $24 but it still seems very sketchy.

Every time TBS broadcasts this episode of Young Sheldon, they put a promo over the subtitles when the characters are speaking in Mandarin

I get turned off by any subreddit that allows GIF comments. Comment threads will turn into GIF after GIF after GIF, taking up way too much space and making my entire screen distracting mini-videos.
