I'm confused with my History assignment and don't know how to proceed.

Well, I'm taking United States History up to 1877 and I'm really confused on how to proceed with my 700 word essay. It's asking questions for me to answer in essay format about a certain person that went to court. I get that much but every single question is about the hearing.

How can I explain this to those reading this? It feels like this assignment would have more to do with going to school to become a lawyer and the question is extremely about that more so than about history.

I get that history contains court cases that were significant but I'm having trouble seeing this assignment as a history assignment. I legitimately feel like I took the wrong class and am somehow actually studying law. Specifically law.

I'm just confused about it and there are other things that are making me feel uncomfortable about it to the point I can't do the assignment. I tried to move forward and listed all the questions it asked for in word, separating them with large spaces between questions, and answering them with the intention of erasing the questions and connecting the answers somehow but it wouldn't work. There wasn't enough to make 700 words and it just wouldn't flow.

Not sure what to do. How would you proceed from this?

Random plant flowering suddenly in my yard. Never had it before nor has my neighbors. Central Florida. What is this?

I mowed my lawn about 2 or 3 weeks ago and my grass is finally popping back to life but I've got a mystery plant that has appeared. I've never had anything like this in my yard before and checked my neighbors to see they don't either. It's under a tree so I'm wondering if a bird or squirrels dropped or planted seedsand that's where it came from. I don't know what it is though.

I noticed it yesterday when it started blooming but now every one of the flowers have bloomed. It's very nice looking. Does anyone know what it is?

MAC-1105 is suddenly brutal

I was doing well and suddenly I'm hit with 3 different lessons I'm just not grasping at all. I feel like it should be extremely simple but I just can't understand it. I've read through the lessons multiple times and watched the instructional videos but when I got to the assignments it's as if nothing in them even was gone over in the videos or text.

Does anyone know what I can do to remedy this situation? I'm low on funds so can't get someone to teach me. I'm going to fail if I can't get at least a 75% on the midterm and the final. So stressful.

I'm thinking of taking Medical Terminology fall 2026 or spring 2027. Does anyone know of any good professors for this class?

I've been using ratemyproffesor but have noticed there are many professors that either aren't listed yet or maybe they changed their last names.

Does anyone know of a good teacher to take? I'm hoping for online only.

What's a day in the life of a coding and billing specialist like? (I looked around and was going for real world viewpoints)

After getting through courses to become one, how often do you need to update your knowledge on it?

What's a typical day like for you?

What are the Pros?

What are the Cons?

Serious thoughts on this please? How do I go about becoming a live on the road nomad when I've got only 2k to my name, a Kia Rio that's not completely paid off ($420/ month + $150 insurance), and about 1k monthly coming in? Is this possible?

I have a new resident snake at my house. Central Florida

Does anyone know what type of snake this is? It's the same type I usually see at my house every summer but it's smaller than the one I used to see all the time. This one is about 2.5ft long. I know it's not poisonous. Probably eating all the lizards I have in my yard.

My professor has obviously plagiarized a different professor

So I'm going over the Start Here module this particular professor has. In several different places it says if you have any issues contact professor P. It gives professor P's email at several occasions too. My professor for this course doesn't even have a "P" on their name. The professor I have has an Indian name but the person it says to contact has a very French name.

How are you telling us students not to plagiarize and then straight up have your teachers do it. It's literally in the part of the course where it's telling us not to do so. Among other areas.

Wondering if I should report them?

Edit: Just so all of you who made comments of it not being plagiarism or made snide remarks without knowing what you're even taking about, the professor apologized for using that module from another teacher without even looking it over first. It wasn't intended for this particular class and he did in fact take it from someone else.

The advisor also mentioned it was a type of plagiarism and is moving it up to someone to deal with properly.

So many of you acting like you know what plagiarism is and very clearly don't. All you came here for was to rage bait and throw nasty comments around. SMH

Do you think she was interested in me?

Ok so I used to frequent a particular shop often and this girl started working there about 2 years after I started going. When she started working there she'd often initiate conversation with me (this particular place is typically a place you only talk to the person at the register or if they ask for help. It's a small shop that if you're shopping at you typically know what you're there for). The people working there typically are just chilling behind the counter and only interact with people when they're ready to checkout.

Anyway, I started becoming interested in her but have been way too in my head about taking with her to get her number or freeze when I intend to flirt with her. I haven't been there for a few months and just went in and she's there today chilling. She immediately begins conversation with me and we're taking while I'm looking at what I want to buy. She's smiling and laughing a little bit then a friend of hers came in. He immediately told her she "looks like shit" and she's like, yea I have a hangover and didn't put much makeup on. She says she's off early today (loudly enough so I could hear it). He leaves and I tell her what I'm going to get so she opens the case and grabs it for me. We're talking more and she asked what I'm doing with the rest of my day. I told her I'm just hanging out and it's been a rough day so I look like shit.

She then says, " you don't look like shit. You heard my friend right? He said I look bad".

I tell her, " You don't look like shit at all."

She said, "I didn't put in mascara today and he hasn't seen me without it before so I look bad to him".

I tell her, " I disagree with him, you look great!"

And she starts smiling and giggling.

She asked me if I'd like anything else and cashes me out while we talk a bit more. Then I leave.

I'm wondering if I maybe missed my chance to get her number? Was she asking what I was doing the rest of my day as a kind of hint? I've seen her interact with other customers before and she's never that giggly, talkative, or smiling that much. I finally was able to casually flirt a little with her but was she just being friendly?
