Heading to NYC for a vacation in a month and wondering if there are any special Field Notes there that are hard to get outside of the city? I got some of the Field Museum ones in Chicago and am looking for ones along those lines.
Thanks!
I really need to get a second gig bag, or a double gig bag. Moving to two light weight 1x12 cabs has been the best move ever. So much easier to haul gear.
Got a card for drawer off Amazon to store my Field Notes. Trying to sort used ones by what is in them.
The next couple days are going to be rough. He was a great dog and a great friend.
Just getting into this. Started a Field Notes notebook for daily doodles.
Went down a rabbit hole about music notation and learned about Guido of Arezzo. Then I saw a cool video of someone drawing something like this and it inspired me to
Came up on local FB Marketplace. Kind of want to get it. IYKYK
Picked this up today. Holy crap is it nice. One of the best playing bases I have ever played. Can’t wait to put some fresh strings on it tomorrow so I can really se how it sounds.
Got this BB434 for a really good deal. Plays freaking awesome. I am currently addicted to the sounds of Tbird pickups. The stock pickups sounded fine, but I have a couple PJ setups already. So I figured I’d give her the Thunder treatment. It’s so awesome. Reworked the wiring with 500k pots, master volume, blend, tone. Strung it through the body and it’s a ripper.
I am sure some Yamaha fans might think this is sacrilege, but I love it.
Picked up this Yamaha BB434 for a song today. Guitar Center had it listed as a ‘Fender BB434’ and priced about $100 less than they go for. It’s it pretty good shape. A couple dings and some light scratches on the back, but nothing that probably wouldn’t happen after a couple years of playing. It feels REALLY good. The strings were dead as heck, so I have to get some new ones and string it up, but I am digging the bass so far. First Yamaha bass and I am very impressed with the quality.
