Up and coming Hawkeye main

I’m a console player forcing myself to learn Hawkeye because of an inside joke between me and my friend.

I’m still very bad at him. I get 2-3 one-shots per game (if I’m playing well). I’m very open to tips, but the main thing I have questions about is:

How do you guys not lose sight of your target? If you’re hawking down a mantis in the enemy backline for example, and a team fight breaks out. How do you keep the mantis in your sight to line up the shot? For me, the visual clutter is JUST too much. Deadpool is the most obvious example and a hard counter imo. But honestly, my own punisher smoke grenades, ally Peni (or any tank but Peni is grotesquely big) walking in front of me and blocking my sight, even Jeff’s spray beam. How do you guys keep your focus on the target and not lose them under the piles and mountains of clutter?

How the FUCK do people get more than one champion icon

I have been playing star lord since season 0 and I JUST hit level 25 on him. This is because I am more of a casual player (peaked cel 3 in season 4 and never really played ranked again) and also because I can’t play the same character multiple games in a row without getting bored. Like, how tf? I can’t even get one champion icon let alone two?? How do yall find the mental strength to play one character for games and games on repeat

Going into IB in a few months

This is the summer after my GCSEs (10th grade). Im going into IB in two months and I have no fucking idea what I’m doing. Idk what subjects I want to take because my subjects last year translate horribly into IB, idk if I wanna do DP or CP, I just feel so lost.

Any advice or reassurance is welcome.

I’m so sick of being demonized for playing a character who I like

I’m a big DD fan, I’ve had this pfp since before marvel rivals even came out. I love playing as him in this comic book video game but so many people just shit on me for playing a

  1. diver

  2. meta hero

  3. character with auto aim abilities

Like damn, if the balance of this game matters to you that much why don’t you get a job and find something else to worry about

Hot Take: Turn her into a Healer

Just commit to it and I think more people would have a reason to use her.

They've already essentially floated the idea with the Phoenix team up. No one has any reason to pick her as a DPS. She's become the face of throwers all throughout the community. Just turn her into a damn healer.

It's not like we're short of DPS options. Cyclop, Phoenix and Hela alone provide better DPS Hitscan options. There's no real reason to really move forward with her remaining another DPS.

BUT, Heal Widow? That's a different story.

Basically she'd be the Ana of Rivals, except she'd actually be able to head shot. Then, people already liked pairing her with Mantis to make her a true one tap. But you could basically do the same thing with Luna and her Snowflake.

Let her still have her run ability but maybe toggle the time for the stun on the kick. But she could still be anti-dive. Which would at least be another counter for Dive in general so maybe Netease could buff Dive along with her role shift (R.I.P Black Cat)

Her Ult can still do what it does, except now it also provides burst healing, sustain healing (like Jeff's puddle) and possibly Anti-heal.

Then there's her useless Batons. What if one of the only ways she could self heal, was with her batons? So let's say an Iron Fist or Cap get in her face. She whips out the batons, starts slappin'em with'em and she can self heal on hit? And if she's at full health, maybe the batons grant her temporary over health via a passive with a cooldown (kinda like Wolverines healing factor) it's not perfect, but it'd be any kind of reason to use them at all.

Lastly, it could either be a third new ability or a Penny team-up. But what if she had two or 3 mines? AOE effect that can burst heal her team (maybe similar to a health pack where it bursts then heals over time) and when enemies are hit by it it damages of course, but provides anti-heal for 1.5s-2s?

Dunno if this would really save the character, but I do think it'd give people a real reason to pick her.

But those are my thoughts.

Therapy

God this healed me. Today I played Emma and kept saving my diamond choke for Peni whenever she got a bit too extended, killing her repeatedly, same way they ALWAYS hard target me whenever I’m solo tanking with their 3s cooldown stun. NOTHING in this game I have ever done in my almost two years of playing have felt better.

No hate to peni players, I only hate the way the character is designed. It’s not y’all’s fault you find a miserable to play against character fun.

Is there a release date for the new megas?

I'm well aware that the devs are working hard and appreciate every millisecond of time they spend working on this nonprofit game, they can take as long as they wish to release this update. I just want confirmation of a release date, something to look forward to. Maybe it's too much to ask, really sorry if that's the case. Just curious because I love mega skarmory

ME AND MY DUO ARE ON PS5 (ME) AND PC (HIM) AND WE HAVE BEEN STUCK IN QUICKPLAY HELL FOR THE PAST YEAR.

We started playing in season 2, and we fell in love with the game. It's such a fun premise and we love marvel so we figured we'd give it a shot. We don't really play the game besides together, so we basically only play qp. And it was exceedingly fun (and sometimes still is, looking at you season 7 my GOAT). But as we got better, we started to realize something. Because we were limited to quickplay, the match quality was all over the place. Our teammates would be absolutely horrendous, either because they're new players, or they're trying to learn new characters. (Which is completely fine by the way, glory to everyone in qp.) Or our enemies would be absolutely cracked or dogshit as well, resulting in us steamrolling them. It's so unfun to play if you want to win. The most fun we've had in qp is when we're learning new characters or we mess around, but sometimes, you just wanna win man. The awful match quality is also made worse by not having access to bans, so we can't ban problematic characters and have to deal with them every other game like elsa, hela x namor, thing (when im on dd and he's on cap). Also, quickplay matches people based on account level, but high level players can either be trash or learning new characters. Either way, I don't feel like it'd be too hard to make a gamemode with ranked between platforms, i think it'd be pretty popular. Or at least make a qp but with bans and proper matchmaking (whatever that might mean)

I got the game a month ago and just beat the main story. Don’t have the dlc yet and the last story thing I did was catch zygarde. I love shiny hunting, have been doing it since gen 5, but the issue is that the main method in this game seems to be fast travelling to a wild zone over and over to reset the encounters. But for me, it often just… doesn’t? Maybe even always doesn’t. Can’t tell for sure. When I was trying to kill a bunch of alphas to get exp candies, fast traveling didn’t reset the wild zone 20 alpha spawns at all either. I haven’t seen anyone have this issue, am I just schizo?
