Leaving Zepbound soon.
I’ve been on Zepbound for about a year and a half, currently at 10mg, super happy with the results. My doctor was able to get prescription coverage because I have obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). When I started using it I was pushing 250 lbs and 5’11”. Flash forward to the present and I am at 185lbs, which is great. The problem is that because I am at this weight I am no longer eligible for the OSA coverage and my latest prescription was denied. I have 2 more shots left before I am out. I am worried that I may gain it all back. I have lost weight in the past but always end up regaining it. I have been considering non branded ( the system will not let me use the C word) alternatives but I am a bit skeptical about quality and honestly I find them expensive and difficult to afford.
Has anyone gone through a similar situation and if so, how did it go?
Also, I have been reading a lot about this and Metformin keeps popping up as a suitable alternative to maintain my weight. Any thoughts?
