I used to be scared of baby rollercoasters but slowly got over my fear by riding Hippogriff, Hagrid’s, and the Mummy. After riding Hippogriff as my first coaster, I was thinking “That’s what I was afraid of?” and immediately got in line for Hagrid’s. I walked off with full body goosebumps but loved it and headed to The Mummy. I had super stomach drop feels on the Mummy the first 2 times I rode it but absolutely loved it and after my 5th ride of the day I wasn’t feeling stomach drops anymore. Eventually I got on all the big coasters and Velocicoaster was one of the greatest things I’ve ever done.

I want to share that feeling with my friend who goes to the parks with me… He’s gone on Gringotts with me after watching videos and was mad that I made him go on a coaster but he loved it and wants to ride it every time we go. He also refuses to do any other coasters though like Hippogriff, Hagrid’s, Mummy and even the baby coasters at Disney like Seven Dwarves. Any way to talk him into it since imo Gringotts is more intense than a lot of coasters he is scared of.

I've been to each Disney World park probably 5 times and there's some rides that I've never gotten around to riding.

Magic Kingdom:

• Astro Orbiter (I've done Aladdin and Dumbo, so no point)
• Monsters Inc (I didn't know what this was until recently, doesn't seem worth the time)
• Tomorrowland Speedway (I've never even thought about riding this... it stinks and it's slow go karts that you can't steer?)

Epcot

• Test Track (I want to ride this but it was closed for years)
• Spaceship Earth (I also want to ride this but it's always on our way out of the park and people want to leave)

Hollywood Studios:

• Beauty and the Beast / Frozen / Little Mermaid shows (no kids)
• Slinky Dog (I want to ride this but the line has always been 1+ hour and I don't want to wait in that Hollywood Studios heat)

Animal Kingdom:

• Kali River Rapids (we always do AK with early entry and I don't want to have wet shoes)
• Zootopia (I did A Bug's Life and it was fun, this one seems more geared towards little kids)

Thank you everybody for commenting on my last post where I said I was going to do all 4 parks in 1 day with no Lightning Lanes. I didn't know how they worked, and always thought you were limited to a total of 3 Lightning Lanes for the whole day and only in 1 park. After doing some research and watching a few of the Lightning Lane times yesterday and this morning, I am proud to present my updated plan... again no Thrill Rides as the person I'm going with doesn't want to do them.

• Book LL for Navi, Safari, Everest at Animal Kingdom for $15 7 days in advance.
• Wake up at 6 and catch the first bus to Animal Kingdom to get in that Avatar line.
• Hop on Navi and immediately change Everest to book both Rataouille and Frozen as close to 2pm as possible. Epcot starts filling up fast after 9AM.
• LL into Safari and book Mickey Runaway Train so hopefully have Mickey, Frozen & Ratatouille booked at this point.
• Do the 2 animal walks in AK and catch the first park to park bus directly to Hollywood at 10AM.
• Ride Mickey and switch LL to something in Magic Kingdom for 5ish (looking at Jungle Cruise, Tiana (if they want to do it), or Peter Pan.
• We will probably have to wait in line 2 hours for Toy Story Mania, Smugglers Run, Rise of the Resistance, and Star Tours.
• Take the Skyliner to Epcot, ride the 2 rides there, book LL's in Magic Kingdom.
• Wait in line and ride Soarin'.
• Should have a couple hours free here to walk around the Countries of the World.
• Take the monorail to Magic Kingdom and from there use whatever we can use LL's on... seems like Haunted Mansion is a good candidate, Space Mountain is good since the line is pretty long but the LL's never run out and Pirates seems to be a walk on lately on weekdays.
• Should have a couple hours free here to do most of the kiddie rides and look around and maybe I can sneak off to Tron or something.
• Watch the fireworks.

I think this will work a lot better now with Lightning Lanes, Epcot will hopefully be a breeze if we get those LL's booked right after Navi River Journey since it will save us 2 hours.

Ok hear me out. I'm accommodating a non thrill ride visitor who wants to see as much of Disney as they can and don't have money or time to do more than 1 day.

I'm staying at All-Star Sports, the closest resort to Animal Kingdom. I'm catching the first bus, rope dropping Animal Kingdom at 7:30, Avatar first (should be under 20 mins), then Na'vi River Journey, Kilimanjaro Safari, and a brisk march through the animal trails followed up by a quick ride on Everest.

From there, I'm catching the first bus to Hollywood Studios at 10AM, Rise of the Resistance + Falcon, Toy Story Mania, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, Tower of Terror (a big stretch, I don't think they will do it), Star Tours and jumping on to the Skyliner to Epcot by 2PM hopefully for Ratatouille, Frozen, Soarin', and a jaunt around the world before taking the monorail over to magic Kingdom.

The rest of the day will be exploring Magic Kingdom: Jungle Cruise, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, some kids rides, and camping out for fireworks at 9:30. I don't think they will want to do Seven Dwarves or any of the coasters but maybe we can squeeze 1 or 2 before and after the fireworks before driving home.

I have a spreadsheet. There's no backup plan, this is THE PLAN. No Lightning Lane, no Genie+, rope drop is doing the heavy lifting here. I would buy an express pass to Guardians of the Galaxy but they don't want to ride it. Disney gives me some kind of manic main-character energy where I genuinely do not get tired, so hour 14 is not a concern, we are locking in. And no, I'm not doing the official 4 Parks Challenge (1 ride, 1 food, 1 photo each park), that's more of a side quest as far as I'm concerned, we're here for the real thing.

Go ahead and tell me this is impossible. My plan is a work of art in my mind.

I won’t have an outdoor balcony and wanted photos that show off the ship during sunrise and sunset. Any recommendations for photo spots?

His tastes in tv shows and movies have widely diverged from my own lately.

Star City? Pass.
Widows Bay? Mid.
House of the Dragon episode 3? Not great, Bob.
The Bear S5 and Gary? Ehhh.
Cape Fear is trash, I’m with him there.

Edit: I also thought Knight of the Seven Kingdoms was just pretty good, a solid 7/10… not the masterpiece people make it out to be, that’s old news though.

Hard to be in sync with someone who’s never seen The Sopranos though.

I’ve been a pass holder for years and have never seen this. Is there a secret line to get in?

It also says one day Epic passes up to 40% off? Is it really ever 40% off or what’s the typical discount?

I really don’t know anything about cruises and wanted to try one out for the experience on a quick 3 day Bahamas trip out of Miami and looking at the giant RC ships (Icon/Oasis class) makes me go “wow”. I see smaller and cheaper cruises with RC or NCL for maybe $100 less but what’s the point? If I’m going with one of those cruise lines isn’t bigger better?

Has anyone here ever gone on one of the big ships and then preferred riding on the smaller ships?

Edit: I will add I was comparing Oasis vs NCL Getaway (the small ship in this situation), is there a big difference between those 2?

A soggy pb&j sandwich? What are we doing here? I have to question everything CR says now.

My friend wants to drive to the game tomorrow from Kendall and leave 2 hours early... I told him we will miss half the game and should leave 4 hours early or find another way to get there to skip parking / whatever other delays there are around the stadium but he is stubborn and keeps saying dos horas.

What do you think?
