I’m sure most people have seen posts like these, where after a few years people return to the game and see that all of their pets are gone :(

They go back in their history, they never traded them off, got hacked, anything like that; they’re just gone!

I’m assuming maybe it’s something like they forgot which account they used to play on and are remembering the wrong one? Or is this a real thing that can happen if you don’t check in for a long time?

I’m sure a lot of you saw a post where this user slid into someone’s dms (who they’ve deemed a “baby” now 😭) begging for their pets simply because they posted that they were taking a break! I left the comments on the last slide, just as a silly funny haha. And received a very sweet dm about it! 🥹

It will never stop being funny to me how dead serious some people take this game, and this reminded me of that 😭

I mean pets that to you at the time seemed totally unattainable, but to you now are worth next to nothing!

For me, it’s my Cerberus beetle <3 🤧🤧 genuinely NEVER thought I’d get one when me and my sister started playing in ~2020, and now here I am with my frost + shadow 🥹 I still remember how excited we were when the trade went through to get him!!

These guys have always been super under appreciated imo, but in the last month for some reason I’ve been seeing them in so many more people’s dp sections!!

So happy they’re finally getting the attention they’ve always deserved cuz they seriously have some of the best designs out there 🥹🤞

The amount of times Ive been so sad to delete profiles cuz I had to make room for a trading section or smth!! Now I can just wipe it clean when I have a bunch of stuff to trade but without losing everything 🥹🤧🤧

I really use it maybe once/twice a month, but after trying it last night it really was just absolute dogshit. I had no idea that they changed their models or anything like that but I knew something was wildly different.

Boring, repetitive, nonsensical responses, and when I’d try to refresh to a new one it’d just say the exact same thing with words switched around a little.

It used to be that when you’d swipe, you’d basically get an entirely different storyline if you wanted. But now, there’s really no controlling / deciding where you want it to go.

Even for someone who doesn’t care or use it much it is genuinely just unusable now, which sucks cuz it really was a pretty cool and fun little thing.
