For $120 and $10 for the strap, it's sharp!

I know, I keep posting this. I love this thing as a daily. My wife even stared at it and I started to shake it and she said, "stop! I'm looking at the seconds hand."

Speaking of, she now wears my Casio Royale. She's hooked. She wants the pruple Citizen Tsyuosa now.

Easy grilling day

Life is simple. Go to Walmart for dinner stuff. Take kids to the pool. Then smoke something easy for dinner. I'm a sucker for a good hot dog.

Random scrolling. Add for watches from a Chinese company. Probably sells fakes and homages.

Servers for bad players?

What game mode or servers should I go to? Not n00bs. Bad players. I have over 200 hours in BF6 alone and my KD is 1.3 and I keep getting worse. If you check my post history, I keep complaining about playing badly. Well, it never ended.

I played three matches:

8-12

6-24

9-9

First two were Conquest matches and the last one was Breakthrough.

I feel like when I die, it's 5 hits in a row. Opposition never misses. When I kill, I shoot 4 rounds, lose half or 3/4 of my health, another 4 rounds, ans then I get a kill. I do burst fire to limit bloom. I'm losing engagements at 10 meters. I dom't know what to fucking do anymore.

I played really well when the game came out. Since season 2, I suck. Every game.

[Compliment] Watchuseek is a great website

Been looking at youtubers and here to get advice on winding a mechanical watch backwards. Saw one comment said it's fine.

I wanted to learn more. I looked up the manual it said you can adjust the time forward or backwards with the Seiko 7S36 movement. I thought you shouldn't move it counter clockwise ever.

I saw a thread on Watch U Seek. They really go into the details of watch parts. Seems like a lot of folks shared my feeling of seeing the seconds hand move backwards. But it seems safe by watch enthausists and Seiko.

I wouldn't wind the watch an hour in reverse still. Mine runs 40 seconds fast everyday so I feel like going back a minute is fine. I'm used to my other Seiko 5 running 50 seconds slow daily so the adjustment seems natural.

All in all, I sure love my Seikos.

Miss having car friends

More of a rant of getting older but I hope it fits omay here. Anyways, driving the family out of town. Taking canyon roads in an SUV. It's still fun. My kids love it. But I keep thinking of how much more fun it would be in my old Civic or Mustang. Used to do trains with friends years ago and it was a blast. Good people. Good fun.

We all got older. Split up. I have three kids which is why I have the SUV. Anyone else in my position? Did you guys just go solo?

Sideways

I've owned this for over a year now. Good watch. The dreaded ticking isn't really there but still light enough to think I'm not wearing a watch. Plus the leather is really soft and conforming.

The dial is easy to read. A real good daily.

Grill Side Cooking

The title would be funnier if I had the habror side on. Oh well. To all the grillers and Timex enjoyers, cheers!

P.S. Yeah the watch has some water spots on it. My kid was shooting me with his water gun today.

Next firearm purchase?

In short: I have a Glock 17 and Max 9 Pro. Should the RXM be next or another Max 9? I'm also thinking the PSA Micro because this will be a daily.

Details: My wife has been on and off about daily carrying and now she really wants to as a mother. I was actually using the Glock 17 as a CCW. It's big but I'm not sure if anyone at work has noticed. I don't work on the good end of town.

I love the Max 9! Easy to conceal because I only use irons. I'm not bad with it though I am better with the Glock. Maybe I need more training? So that's what I'm spit balling. Do I get another Max 9 so my wife and I match? Do I pony up for an RXM? Local place has it for $430 right now. Or do I try something different like the PSA Micro?

All opinions are appreciated.

Which would you take for the 3 day weekend?

Going out of town for Memorial Day weekend. All planned out for the family. Hiking, swimming, and formal dress for Church. Which watch would you say is the better fit?

The Invicta is solid and with the lower profile bezel, it might be able to pull off being paired with a suit. The splash of color is also nice and the classic oyster style bracelet is classic.

The Seiko SUR 311 is my true GADA. 100M water resistance and quartz means I only need to ensure I switch the date. It's a very slim case and at 40.1mm it is big and sporty for everyday wear but since it's slim, formal wear is cake.

Both of these watches I feel is really good for affordability. The Seiko can be found for a little over $100 new.
