Let me preface this by saying I LOVE the game, and I sincerely hope it flourishes. I've been quite active in the Hytale community, watching lots of YouTubers and observing how they interact with the game and each other. Something I cannot stand, however, is how sycophantic they are. It’s always, "OH MY GOD THIS GAME IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD," "ITS LORE IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD," or "THIS GAME IS GONNA DESTROY MINECRAFT." or even when they just tweet "Hytale".

Some of them feel delusional. Like, dude, we get that you like the game, but too much is too much. The game right now is in its infancy, there's no way the game is even close to being a good game yet, there's no need to gas it up to such an unreasonable level.

Rant over.

Edit: People seem to think I interact with these people but I do not, I interact with good Hytale content and the algorithm think I would enjoy the kind of youtubers I'm talking about here.

Edit 2: I enjoy playing Hytale, but right now the game isn't good imo, and I think Simon, to mention an important memeber of the community, agrees with this idea.

I just updated Hytale to Version: 0.5.8 but I can't find the patchnotes of the release anywhere, could you help me?

I loved headspace and the way it handles meditation not as something spiritual and that you must do crossed legged on the floor while humming, but as something therapeutic that reshapes the way you handle yourself and your emotions. Now, I want to start meditating again, but headspace is too expansive for me and I also would like some other options. However when I look for meditation tutorials online all I get is the cross-legged, spiritual and new-age kind of meditation, which is decidedly not something I'm looking for. Do you have any suggestions? preferably something free on you tube? or maybe something else entirely? thank you

I personally like the player models as they are, but I see thousands of people complain about them, and I see their point, a lack of nose might be a little unsettling at time. So I think they should try reworking them. Especially when Hytale will have cutscenes and stuff.

I've read it was about 225, but I don't know if that info is outdated or not, thank you!

on the discord I've recently found out that Ktar was leaving the development team, and it's gotten me pretty worried, he was one of the main guys and he's leaving after only a year of development. Thta can't be a good sign, right?

I'm a fan who likes to document Pokémon's history and Billy is the most important and prolific leaker we've ever gotten, unfortunately I don't have access to his tweets, and I was wondering, do you know of anyone who does? and where I might find them?

is "baby pokémon", much like the term pseudo legendary, a term coined by pokémon fans or is it canon?

I swear to god, just because it comes out on the switch 2 and is a game not everyone likes, then it's suddenly not a big deal and y'all think they can just totally overshadow it with another game entirely. Guys Miyazaki is working on it and is one of the games Nintendo cares most about.

pretty much the title, I'm just afraid the mangaka won't ever touch the series again after their treatment on twitter (which sounds kinda silly now that I write it out lol)

I was recently reading Witch Hat Atelier and I thought "damn, if I was in this world, I'd study magic and create all sorts of wonderful things". and then I thought that we do kinda have magic in our world through technology or even biology, we can access the whole world through a screen and we can talk to talking books (LLM's) afterall (I'm aware of how corny that sounds lol) so why am I not all that interested in our kind of magic?

I know nothing of Vermis, what is it?
