Would it have been better for SEGA to make the 32XCD add instead of being the add-on for the Megadrive/Genesis?

Would it have benefited SEGA for implementing the SH2 chips inside the SegaCD instead of doing it through the mushroom top?

End game armor stats for my helpers

I have Ash(Liberation) and Sophia(Dragoon)

And I'm looking for +strength/stamina and +agility/intellect on their armor. So far I can fuse rings to get those boost stats but I'm really looking for armor with stats for my helpers. Any stage suggestions?

9 bit color pallette question

Guys, what makes a 15-bit color pallette better than a 9-bit other than a larger color pallette?

For example, the Megadrive is 9-bit but could still pick 256 colors out of the 512 color pallette. Would it be on par with the SNES?

I'm sorry but I always felt that People let Sega down..smh PT1

Now that time has passed and you can see things from an unbiased perspective, it's clear as day people hatred for Sega was, in my opinion from being shafted by supporting either the 32X or SegaCD expansions (some of yall had the tower of power). Because there is no way in heck that a system that was selling more than the SNES lost a huge amount of fans without reason like that. To be fair, most of us should've been upset with Sega if you had all systems before the Saturn. My problem with Sega was that they didn't know how or wanted to market the SegaCD or the 32X. This is how I would've marketed for each add-on.

Sega CD:

The SegaCD came out in 92 by that time in arcades. You had mostly action and beat em up's. Sega could've easily went with CPS1,CPS2 and Konami games. Cadillac and Dinosaurs,Punisher,Mercs, and Carrier airwing, TMNT 1st arcade game and the the Simpsons beat em up game.

32X:

I would've marketed the 32X a little differently. The only cartridge based games would've been made by Sega and every other developer would have used the 32XCD. Games like MK2, Wrestlemania the arcade and NBA Jam Tournament edition would've all kept the arcade music and sound effects.

B.o.t. to be fair if you compare any SegaCD or the 32X version of games to it's competitors they either won or lost by a small margin. But us being kids at the time we simply saw everything different since this was the dawn of gaming.

A new Castlevania antagonist

I always wanted a Belmont that had super magical powers, and then we got Juste and Richter, Now I would love for a new Belmont to be mixture of Gambit and Toji Fushiguro!!!

The world would be similar to Vampire Hunter D and fist of the north star.

So would you guys like a new Castlevania besides the one that's coming soon?

Ram + fill rate= better Graphics?

Hello, my fellow Sega fans, I have this question about the fill rate for the Genesis/Megadrive.

Say if the CPU RAM was twice the amount of the Original Genesis, would it need twice the amount for the fill rate? 🤔
